Firehouse subs are to me a (usually) great and unique sandwich. I go here from time to time and find the food delicious and the staff friendly and accommodating. Sorry that another person had a bad veggie sandwich. But my experience here has always been great.

Not our first stop in here but we’ve been neglecting to share our opinions. I’m not a big sub aficionado but if I’m going to ear a sub for lunch it’s going to be a Firehouse sub. My wife is also becoming a regular here over the other big subway place nearby. I’m glad. I don’t care if I ever eat one of those again. We find Firehouse subs to be fresh, warm when desired, fresh and made as requested. They have a good selection of chips and the new Coke machine where you make your own mix. The staff is friendly and courteous and if it’s not crazy busy bring your order out to you. Great place!

Well, I can’t speak to the delicious looking meat based subs on their interior signage, but I did try their veggie sub and it was TERRIBLE. Described as sauteed peppers, onions, a couple of other things and the server asked if I wanted mushrooms, too. Well, of course… sauteed mushrooms are delicious! The mushrooms they use, however, are straight out of a can and gross as all get out. It was disappointing and for a sub there was just way too much bread, not enough filling and the filling that was there was pretty sad. I just didn’t expect cheap button mushrooms out of a can mixed in with some fresher ingredients. The taste, texture and consistency of a fresh mushroom vs. a canned mushroom are totally different. Staff was very pleasant, store was very clean. Not staff’s fault that the stuff they have to work with is below par.

Good subway alternative. Fresh and fast. Plenty of parking fast service. Service and quality is consistent across the chain. Plenty of choices and they are willing to accommodate any special requests.
