Grand Buffet

Love the huge selection of food! I really like the fact that there are a lot of fruit choices for my kiddos! Love the hibashi! I really just love it all!

We went there about an hour before closing. The food was still hot, and I was really impressed with the varieties they have. Food tastes good and fresh. They were still filling up more fresh cooked food after we got there. There was not whole a lot of sushi, but sea food and hibachi were good. Service was good too. Very glad we found this placed, and we will definitely come back again.

This place has the best food and worst service! I love Chinese food and my favorite place is the buffet. Our waitress was so rude we debated never going back. She demanded we tip her more when the dishes were on our table the whole time and I had to ask her 3 times for a refill on my drink.

Excellent quality considering its a buffet. Lots of choices all around. Very clean. Wait staff were right on top of keeping plates cleared. It’s definitely a haul getting up there, but it was worth the trip. Good choices in the sushi area, even some vegetarian items (which another buffet on fruitville did not offer). Definitely going back soon. Prices very good. $ 9 lunch buffet, and dinner price was only about $ 12.

We all love this place. Wonderful selection of food. All the Sushi you can eat. People that work there are amazing. Best Chinese food in the area. Reasonable prices. Normally I dont enjoy Chinese Buffet places but this one is amazing.

I guess the others on here ate at a different Grand Buffet than we did. There are plenty varieties of food kept full. There is NO quality to the food, so if you only care about quantity over QUALITY this place is for you. The food has NO taste. Especially the Egg rolls and Spring rolls. I had to ask the waitress to wipe the table when we arrived, then I had to ask for a knife.
This is the most mediocre Chinese place that I’ve eaten at. Don’t worry about the restaurant being properly air conditioned, as you can feel the steam from the steam tables. You’ll have to go home and change all your clothes because you come out smelling like a chinese kitchen. And no, I’m not used to giving negative reviews. In fact nearly every review I do on Hotels and Restaurants are 5 star reviews. Never again.

I will have to agree with most of the reviews. It is hard to give a buffet a 5 star but this us a solid 4. They have items that are not normal at a buffet like seaweed salad which is so good! They have the staples you want out of a buffet: bbq pork, dim sum, lo Mein and/​or fried rice, sesame chicken ect… Don’t get the mussels in garlic because the beards aren’t taken out and that leaves a taste in your mouth you can get rid of. All Florida water is gross so avoid. Definitely one of the better buffets I’ve been to.

It was… okay. A lot of dishes lacked flavor, but the hibachi grill beef with teriyaki sauce was okay, ditto peel and east shrimp with lemons and cocktail sauce. Otherwise I thought most of the food looked and tasted a little tired.
We tried this place because it was real near our house, but it’s better to drive father to go to the Chinese carryout we like down at 53^rd Ave. and 34^th St. We.

Listen, I’m sitting in the parking lot after an incredible meal! I was so compelled to write this. My stomach is so happy right now. The seafood is amazing. The blue crab and head on hot shrimp were cooked to perfection! This was a glutinous and decadent meal that left me and my entire large family feeling stuffed but pleasantly so. The value is so good, we were all a bit skeptical going in but now I’m just shocked they can make money at these prices with a spread like this at this quality. Service was also perfect and the owner was going around checking on people and being personable. Definitely 5 star and new favorite restaurant in this area.

This is a very neat clean nicely laid out buffet. The staff is friendly and the food is consistently good. They have a very large seating capacity so they’re good for crowds… and it only takes a minute to get seated every time. Come check it out!

Wanted something quick and Asian on the drive home from Anna Maria Island and stopped here. You really can’t have any expectations for a Chinese buffet with how many there are on the side of the road, but Grand Buffet was a surprising catch.
Obviously you lack flavor and quality with buffets, but everything they had wasn’t skimped out on. Their crawfish was cooked perfectly and the sauce didn’t taste like toilet water. Coconut shrimp was made with coconut milk and had larger pieces of shrimp compared to any other buffets. Basically everything from hibachi, sushi, and hot selection has the best flavors than any casual Chinese buffet I’ve been to.
Usually service isn’t even something to be considered when at a buffet, and it’s common sense to ask how tables are going, but most buffets don’t bother being friendly. Turnover on food is very frequent, even when the dish isn’t gone yet and didn’t have any empty dishes. It was a random drive through and wish I could actually go here again because this place cuts all nasty stereotypes about Chinese buffets.

Pretty good Chinese and seafood buffet. When we went the place was packed. The food was replenished fast and there was always plenty of whatever you wanted. Very good variety and quality. Waitress was wonderful, very attentive and brought drink refills without having to be asked. I would recommend this place for sure!

This place is awesome! The food is fresh, delicious and they have a wide variety to choose from. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is friendly and my husband and I will definitely be going back.

Have been here for dinner several times now. Obviously I like it. The hibachi is very good. The selection is phenomenal and every time I have been there it’s super clean and all the food stations are adequately filled.
It gets very crowded with families on the weekend, so watch out for little kids running around!

The food was decent considering that this is Bradenton, FL and not San Francisco, CA. The staff was definitely friendly and very nice. I was pretty excited about their «Sui Mai» they called «Dim Sum.» I also liked their egg rolls, just like the ones they have in California! I will definitely return and try out the other selections, I got a to-​go box the last time I went. Maybe I’ll do I dine-​in next. :-)

Totally my favorite Chinese Buffet out there! They have a great selection of sushi made right there in front of you. Always my daughters and I first pick of places to eat out!

Pretty much all chicken on the buffet and endless sushi no real chinese food. needs work atmosphere is nic thought.

Very nice have the hibachi and everything like the super grand buffer in Tampa. The sushi is verygood. Only thing bother me the the rainbow led light. I can’t see what I’m eating because of the light but overall is not bad.

Cool inside but food was horrible… everything was room temperature… nothing was that good… will never go back

Opened 3 weeks ago. The place and the food is incredibly clean and delicious. First time there and was very impressed.
