The employees at the Bradenton store are always helpful. The merchandise selection isn’t what it used to be, but the prices on what they have are the same as Walmart. I use the Kmart pharmacy because the prices are cheaper then Walgreens, and prescriptions are filled much quicker. Kim is very knowledgable, and always takes time to answer my questions.

Attention K Mart Shoppers! Remember that from when you were a kid? I haven’t set foot in a KMart in years. Something about them just seems cheap and depressing. Anyway, this one was convenient for what I thought would be a quick run in to pick up some pet food. Boy, was I wrong. Took a while to find the pet section in the back 40 of the store, and then wheeling up to the cashier, well, what a treat that was. She was texting on her phone. Phone was in plain site on the shelf that holds the cash register. All my stuff on the belt, ready to go, this woman has the amazing capacity to stand there and totally ignore my presence as she continues to play with her phone. I finally say«I know you are texting and all, but I’d like to pay and get out of here». She denies she is texting. She sulks. She says she can’t lift my item(bag of pet food) and contiues to sulk. She finally says«I wasn’t texting» and stops ringing up my stuff. I said I really don’t care what it was– Facebook, texting, checking email, whatever, it doesn’t matter. Can I just get rung up and get out of here? She stops completely. Me and this cashier are having a moment. Jesus H. Crips, I just want to get out of this God forsaken store, not re-enact a Jerry Springer episode. She still isn’t ringing up my stuff, standing there giving me a dead fish stare. I had already slid my credit card in the machine, but it suddenly dawns on me that I have a choice here and my choice at this point is to walk out. WTF, KMart? Are employees allowed to have their phones out on the floor while on duty? Is a customer really supposed to just wait patiently for a cashier who is on the phone? Not only on the phone, but with the audacity to cop a ‘tude toward the paying customer for interrupting their precious cellular communication. Um, no. See you in Hell, KMart. I’ll never set foot in one of your stores again.

What a joke of a business kmart/Sears is they treat there employees like crap they don’t give raises and let customers walk all over them and when you stand up for yourself you get fired. Oh and the rat problem this store has just don’t buy any food from kmart on manatee ave the rat piss is all over the food. I can’t wait for the day that kmart/Sears goes belly up and from the looks of it soon he’ll even craftsman trying to get away from selling there stuff there. This places sucks!
