Just moved to Lakewood Ranch, and was thrilled to have such wonderful service at this salon. No waiting, efficient and perfect mani/​pedi. And a chip [which happened after 9 days] was cheerfully repaired at no charge. And the hot stone leg massage during the pedicure was a real treat. Heather runs a tight ship, with happy people on both sides of the chair! And her prices are very good as well!

Very clean, reasonably priced salon. The place was packed so they’re obviously doing something right. I did make an appointment and they were very prompt seeing me right after I picked out my polish. Tommy did wonderful work (see my pic) and I will definitely be returning!

Heather truly is 5 stars. Her work is meticulous and she appreciates all of her clients. There are plenty of workers so it’s easy to get an appointment. Heather is also amazing at eyebrows. She does them perfectly. J is the best for a pedi. $ 20 for the pedi and it’s amazing, hot stones and all. Love, love it here.

I stopped in Saturday evening after work, the nail salon was FULL but I didn’t have to wait long and Heather, the owner was able to do my nails. She was so nice and thanked each client by name as they were leaving. I told her I was the new stylist next door at Lakewood Ranch Hair Salon and she asked me to leave her cards. She also did a great job on my nails!

I just moved to the area not long ago and have desperately been trying to find my «go to» nail place. I tried this one because it was close to my home. The staff was friendly, but the girl that did my nails (I think her name was «J») really seemed to rush through my refill, which didn’t turn out so great. All in all, it was an ok experience, but I wouldn’t go back. Between the rushed, not so great refill and the blah atmosphere, I wouldn’t go back.

This was my first time here. The people who work here are very friendly but unfortunately the customer service and quality of nails was not good.
I went in for a full set of acrylics and white tips. I can’t speak for the pedicures or manicures because I did not have that done. When I called to make an appointment I told them exactly what I had wanted (full set of acrylics with white tips and a small flower design on each ring finger). I walked into the salon and was greeted by a nice woman who was already working with another client, because there was no one at the front desk. I said I was here for my appointment and she asked me what I wanted done. I didn’t show it but this frustrated me a little bit because I already called ahead and said exactly what I was there for. She told me to have a seat in the waiting room. A little while later another woman came to take me to a table. She sat me at a table that had nail clippings on the floor and nail dust on the table. Then she told me she had to finish working on another client. I waited 10 mins at the dirty table until she came back and took me to another table (that was clean) to finally start working on my nails. She put the white tips on and then went away and a different man came and finished my nails. He worked very quickly. Maybe he didn’t have as much experience with acrylics but I really didn’t like how my nails turned out. They were flat and bulky. The pink flower design that I asked for turned out to look more like a red blob on my finger.
I knew this place was a lot cheaper so I did not have high expectations going in. The full set of acrylics with white tips was $ 20. The people there were really nice but the service and quality just didn’t cut it for me. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back.

Nails By Heather is a nice nail salon in the Lakewood Ranch Area. I came in with a couple of girlfriends looking for a gel manicure and a pedicure. We came during the holidays and had about a 20 minute wait. After getting called, I really enjoyed my pedicure. They listened to what I wanted and made it relaxing but it did not go on for too long.
As for my manicure, Tommy did a very nice job. The only issue I had was with the texture of my gel manicure. When I put my hands in the drying machine, it started to look wavy. When I mentioned it to my nail artist he put some droplets in the nail polish and then re-​coated it. It still looks a bit wavy. I appreciate the work he did to fix it, but I wonder why it went wavy in the first place. I would definitely come back, as I’m assuming that the issue that I had was with the nail polish, not the facility.

I have been to many, many nail salons in the Sarasota/​Bradenton area over the years and have remained loyal to a select few. My co-​worker told me about Nails by Heather, so of course I had to see what it was all about. This place is legit. It is family owned, and Heather and her sister are hilarious and do a wonderful job. I always get the pedicure and gel manicure, and I have never had a gel manicure last as long as I do when I get one done here. This place is an amazing value on top of the service you receive. If you are there during lunch or dinner hours, they even feed you snacks! I had the pleasure of feasting on some egg rolls when I was indulging in a pedicure. I seriously love this nail salon!
