Helpful employees, great customer service! A manager even offered to have me pull my car up to the curb while it was raining so that she could load the groceries into my car.

It’s the day before Resurrection Sunday and this place is packed! Although, it was EXTREMELY busy, I was able to find everything I was looking for, some great deals, and more. Also, every employees I encountered today greeted me & asked if I needed help (someone even offered to unload my groceries onto the belt). As usual, I was asked if I needed help to my car (which I alway decline because I have working hands & legs so I told him to stick around for someone who really needs the help). When I got to my car, someone actually came up to my car to take the shopping cart so I didn’t have to walk it back (although I wouldn’t have minded).
EXTRAORDINARY CUSTOMER SERVICE today!!! Great job everyone!

The Lakewood Ranch & State Road 64 Publix management is absolutely the WORST I’ve ever seen. The temperatures in the freezers are always set low. I’m not sure if they are trying to save money on the electric but they are going to poison someone if they aren’t careful. I should’ve left a review but I’m busy. Today they get the review cause they upset me.
I got treated pretty rudely by the male & female manager in there because I tried to buy dog food. 1^st off I have 5 dogs I buy a LOT of dog food. I actually do not search for sales all though I probably should.
Today I tried to buy 3 – 12 packs of chicken & 4 – 12 packs of turkey. The cashier & I are stopped in the middle of my purchase by a bagger because there is a sale. I had no idea. So the bag girl grabs all my stuff out of the bags. To Re-​ring it all up again? I’m freaking out cause I have things to do & ask for a manager. The female manager shows up 1^st tells me we have a BOGO offer going so you can only have 3 offers. I say «Cool! I’ll pay full price for the rest no problem»!
I just need to go & this is the 2^nd time I’m being ringed out. Then she keeps repeating BOGO BOGO. I have NO IDEA WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT. I yell for a smart manager cause this one is freaking out. Then a guy manager comes up to me & grousing because I yelled for a manager. Then informs me that I can only have half of the dog food I walked around the store for. Now, I need this dog food wether it’s buy one get one free or not I’ll PAY FULL PRICE!
He says NO! I am NOT ALLOWED TO PURCHASE THE DOG FOOD BECAUSE HIS OTHER CUSTOMERS WILL BE DISSAPOINTED!!! I’m still trying to figure out wtf he means. So I told him to go «F» himself a couple times & left.
Sux I let the Pee-​on get to me & push me to cussing But that is the Weirdest thing I’ve ever heard & basically they treated me like I was trying to steal dog food.
Let me get this straight, we have dog food for sale, we want to sell all of it, but not to you?
Plus like I said at the beginning they need to check their temperature in there coolers before the kill someone. The coolers are a way bigger issue than my dog food drama :)

It’s Publix! What is there to really say? They are a monopoly here. There exists no other grocery chain so I can’t complain. Thanks for feeding me!
