Ringling Bicycles

I am a snow bird in Bradenton and mostly a long distance cyclist who has been around his share of bike shops. Today I went to Ringling for a headset problem I couldn’t figure out on my own. The shop was busy on a Wednesday morning with several customers looking for help with both sales and service. I was able to get my quick adjustment done in about 15 minutes and out the door. The price was surprisingly small and I left a very happy customer.
Ringling has all styles of bikes and has a service team of at least five who were eager to assist.

I’m new in Bradenton and I needed a new bike to complete the package; I can see there are a lot of nice places to ‘ride around here.
I stumbled, quite by accident, into Ringling Bicycle. The first person I talked to was Julie, and she couldn’t have been kinder, more gracious, and/​or more professional.
We talked, I looked, and I made an informed decision. The bike I purchased was a value for the price I paid, and value is an important factor.
I didn’t buy on-​the-​spot, but rather returned within a few days.
They made the bike’s transition from their ‘shop to my hands a smooth, seamless, and fun one.
I had my wifey drop me at Ringling’ the next morning after actually purchasing the bike the day before, and shop tech’, Nick, set-​up the bike for me; Nick is cool.
In 20 minutes I was riding out Ringling’s door and straight-​away up to the ‘beach.
I had a great 1^st day on my NEW bike, in exploring Bradenton beaches, and especially in dealing with Ringling Bicycles.

The staff helped me pick out the perfect bicycle for my body type and intended activites. It ended up being a totally different bike than I went in thinking that I would get. It’s working perfectly and they even helped me install some accessories. I’m loving seeing the area from the seat of a bike instead of through the windshield of a car. I feel like I’m re-​learning everything here!

Took my rear tire in for a hub rebuild (est: $ 20-​$ 40), Ringling called and talked me into a new wheel for $ 80 plus and I said OK. They removed the tire from the original rim and put it on the new one, the problem is it now looked like a snake with a broken back. The tire looked it had a small animal crawling through it and was unridable. I asked them about it and they said I must have did it although no one from the shop said I was going to need new rubber. I’m not even sure if they didn’t give me someone else’s tire, but they said they would not remedy the problem. I won’t be going back.

Customer service, repair work, and staff knowledge is second to none. I tend to visit all kinds of different bike shops from Tampa to Clearwater, St. Pete, Bradenton/​Sarasota and this place out of all of them NEVER fails to impress me.

We are part-​time residences of the area and were looking to buy «second home» bikes. After visiting a few other shops, we were about to give up because no one listened to our requirements, talked over our heads in biking lingo, and were only interested in selling us bikes WAY more expensive than what we wanted to spend. Then we walked into Ringling Bicycles, and Jonathan helped us. What a great salesman. Casual and laid-​back, but extremely knowledgeable, speaking to us in layman’s terms. We walked out with two bikes, a rack, and accessories. Would HIGHLY recommend.
