Best breakfast in Bradentucky. When we are here, it’s a no brainer! Fresh ingredients, vegan options, many vegetarian options. Original dishes made from scratch. I never feel like I’ve over done it here. Best biscuits, best potatoes, best huevo rancheros. Def order the sage biscuit, the hubs & I get one to share with our coffee while we wait for our food.

Stopped by on the way to the beach. I had the house smoked salmon benedict at the waiter’s suggestion. The salmon was nicely smoked but I found the dish a little too rich and one note for my palate. I asked for capers and scallions which offset the richness nicely. I was a bit surprised to find they charged me a dollar for them. The potatoes were good, crisp and light. My boyfriend had the sage biscuit skillet and found it good not great. We will go back to try some other things but suggest that they consider adding scallions or capers to their smoked salmon Benedict. $ 4 mimosas were a deal.

The servers are AMAZING. I’ve never seen such young adults with SUPER work ethic. They don’t stop(and text; etc) for a minute. Only had breakfast and the food is delicious.

Won’t go back because they do not have WiFi. I check emails when I am in town for breakfast and not able to do it here so I won’t be back. On to the food. The sage biscuit was pretty dry and I only ate a few bites. Corned beef hash was top notch and if they had WiFi I woukd be a regular.

This place is incredible! Come here for brunch on the weekend, expect a 10-ish minute wait. it’s totally worth it! There’s a Thrift shop and a pet boutique to browse while you wait. Then sit outside. bring your puppy. some of the dishes are big enough to share with your significant other. It doesn’t matter what you order, you’re gonna love it!

The waitstaff was extremely friendly and my meal outside on their lovely shaded area was delicious. I had the sage biscuit omelette with fruit and a biscuit. The biscuit was one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had. Flaky but not dry, with a beautiful hint of sage. The omelette was also wonderful, but the biscuit and the atmosphere were what made the meal.

Best brunch in Bradenton. I gave 4 star only because There were times that we had to wait for an hour. If you want to go the Sage the on the weekend, make sure you go before 9, or make sure that you are not too hungry. Great service, friendly people. My favorite is the salmon Benedict, my husband orders green tomato jalapeño Benedict over and over. Our friends were very happy about to gluten free French toast. Mediterranean omelet was also very good. Our daughter loves the pan cakes. Great menu, great prices!

Recommended by the locals, this place did not disappoint. In fact, I want to eat here everyday. The menu is fantastic and has a lot of vegetarian options. Tips: It’s so good that there is sometimes a wait, but it’s worth it. We had the Veggie Skillet and Bananas Foster Waffle. The skillet was layered with grilled potatoes, corn, roasted red peppers, portobellos, green peppers, sautéed onions, scrambled eggs, swiss cheese and scallions. Nice and savory. The Bananas Foster waffle was out of this world. The waffle was golden brown, with caramelization and covered in bananas and walnuts. Mmm… There was nothing left on our plates :) P. S. The portions are large!

Awesome family friendly local business in Bradenton! One of the best brunch restaurants in the city and you can tell from all the customers dining inside and waiting outside the restaurant. I always order the crab cake benedict. It’s two filling crab cakes which is a good deal for the price. The hollandaise could use more lemon and it’s a little too thick for my liking, but overall, it’s solid service and solid food.

This place used to be one of our favorites but the coffee has been very weak lately and they have been busy so service is not as it used to be. We will try it out again when season ends. 5÷1÷16 We have now returned twice since my initial review and I have raised my rating to 5 stars. We brought both of our dogs this last time and the hostess brought them out a bowl of ice water. Our beasties were impressed. The food was great, we each had a different type of eggs benedict. The waitress was also very good.

Outside the box breakfast place with a really extensive menu! They have plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans, something you don’t see very often in Bradenton. I Definitely recommend getting one of their eggs benedicts over their famous namesake biscuits.

Delish! Went there with my foodie parents and fiancée, and with a huge menu and many fantastic options, everyone loved their choices. Corned beef hash was our favorite, and if you’re looking for a great bloody Mary, this is not your spot, they only have a beer and wine license. But mimosas hit the spot!

I am not going to ‘wax on’ about what each of us ordered for breakfast yesterday morning as I don’t think there is any item on their menu that is not outstanding! But, I will state that the biscuits are phenomenol. Only the 2nd time in my life that I can state that… tender crumb, richness of flavor… Yum. Being an incredibly busy Sunday morning we were offered 2 seats at the bar which we opted for rather than wait for a table. I watched with amazement how efficiently run this restaurant is. Management has ‘figured it out’. Regardless of how good the food is, if service has cracks you are destined to fail. I would place a lot of credit on Nicole who keeps everything from ‘tickets’ to finishing up orders, to running orders in her wheel house with no drama. She is outstanding. Our waitress was Betty who juggles friendliness with attention to detail. It is obvious that she enjoys her job. Despite Sage Biscuits loyal following and willingness to wait for tables, no one is rushed, coffees are replenished without having to track the waitstaff down, food arrives piping hot… What more can I say? A real find!

I’m always on the hunt for the best Eggs Benedict and theirs is pretty fantastic. You have to get it on the sage biscuit! My fiancé and I love to come here whenever we want to treat ourselves to a nice brunch. You can definitely count on waiting outside for a table and that’s why we place our orders for take out. The one time we wanted to eat in, we showed up around 9:30 and there was a 30 min wait but we were able to snag a seat at the bar.

This is a great brunch/lunch spot in Bradenton. Great food, great prices and such incredibly friendly staff. I love that you can get an omelet and they don’t charge you extra for egg whites, too! This place was recommended to me by a friend and I was super happy to have found it!

Great place to eat — can’t say that about the wait staff — I’ve eaten here 10 times — but today was bad — waited a ½ hour for a table while 4 tables sat empty — so we sat at a vacant table — told we had to move — we moved — so that table sits empty for 27 minutes — well you guessed it — the waited comes back and says he will seat us — ATTHESAMETABLE — SAGEYOUVESEENYHELASTOFME — your not that good

Really enjoyed this place for brunch! They had a full menu with breakfast specialties, omelette and then entrees. Started out with a delicious mimosa with fresh fruit and my parents had bloodies that were very strong & spicy! I had the jalapeño bacon/fried green tomato eggs Benedict which was soooo delicious! The biscuits were to die for… crunchy but also melted in my mouth. I practically licked the plate clean. Skip the grits and go with the potatoes for a side. Grits were runny and only come with cheese for an up charge. Parents had the sage biscuit skillet and they loved it! Large portions. Service was decent. a little slow but it was very busy! Overall it was a very tasty brunch spot and it looked like everyone was enjoying themselves!

I enjoy coming here for breakfast the food tastes pretty good, but sometimes it’s hit or miss. For example today it’s taken longer than 30 minutes to see any food, still actually waiting. Sitting at a table with the inlaws, so it’s best to get them fed. Food is good though, but the wait is not good.

Let me begin by saying that I am not much of a breakfast person but due to the excellent amount of reviews, I was determined to give Sage Biscuit Café a shot. I was not sure what to order as it was my first time here. My server recommended the Sage Biscuit Platter so I went with that. The Sage Biscuit Platter came with eggs, meat, pancakes/french toast, grits/fruit/potatoes for the price of $ 9.99. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, french toast and potatoes. The eggs were too plain as they had no flavor and were a bit cold. The french toast was a little too sweet for me. I thought the bacon and potatoes were pretty good, but not sure if that is just because I live for bacon and potatoes.

I stopped at my favorite breakfast restaurant while down in Bradenton today, Sage Biscuit-Café. As of last week, they were only a breakfast and lunch place, but they are starting to stay open for dinner and that is the new dinner menu below. We both had benidicts. She had the tradional while I had the jalapeño bacon fried green tomatoe benidict. Both were absolutely amazing and filling. When there, you have to try one of their sage biscuits as they are amazing, even to a person that isn’t much of a bread eater like myself. The prices are reasonable and the staff always friendly. You can’t ask for much more. Check this place out if you are ever down in Bradenton.

Atmosphere A decent sized café for the strip center location it’s in, Sage Biscuit was incredibly busy(it was a holiday weekend). Seating inside and out, not much to say décor wise — minimal. A huge chalkboard over the counter listed beers and menu specials. The restaurants awards were inconspicuously hanging on the wall by the bathroom. It’s too bad they didn’t have s better more recognizable location than there. Stained ceiling tiles bother me and there quite a few. I could be alone in noticing this. I wouldn’t recommend for groups due to the size. Hours are 7−3PM daily. Service A hustling server, the lady really was hauling butt to accommodate and check in with each table. Kudos to her because we witnessed one very upset table who’s server lacked the same effort. Our server was prompt on checking in and was quick to bring out our drinks and check considering the number of tables she was handling. She tried and did her best it seemed. The hostess also deserves praise for being super friendly despite the amount of folks she was juggling. She was doing a lot more than just taking people’s names down. All the staff seemed rushed and while I understand the busy day and high volume, it made me feel rushed to get out and didn’t offer the calm«Stay awhile» feel you look for at brunch. Food: I had the veggie lovers skillet $ 8.99 and my husband had the salmon omelet around $ 10. Large portions, fair prices, average taste. Nothing that knocked our socks off but was a hearty meal. The biscuits that came with each of our dishes came out half way through our meal. Can’t complain too much — they were fresh and warm, the kitchen was just running behind on quantity. Not the best biscuit ever but tasty and surely homemade and large. I ordered s mimosa. Heavy on the champagne ratio compared to OJ, it was just okay(and served in a wine glass when others had champagne glasses, again I assume just behind on dishes). Not the best mimosa but not bad either. Overall, I felt Sage Biscuit really tried hard but from staff being swamped running around frantically to food being plentiful but just average taste… it was just OK& didn’t leave me with any wow factor.

Delicious breakfast food and equally great coffee and tea drinks. Well worth the wait on a Saturday morning to indulge in this fresh cuisine at a great price. I recommend the Sage Biscuit Platter– eggs, meat, pancakes/french toast, grits/fruit/potatoes, all for only $ 9.99.

Veggie skillet is amazing but I really wish they would make an improvement on the coffee. I love my morning coffee! Went to the restroom while waiting for my food and even though I left my legal pad, pen and newspaper on my table and checked in with the hostess to let her know I was not leaving, and asked her to watch my table in case the food came out to please cover it — and her station was 2 feet from my table. I came back and everything had been taken off the table! I had completely finished sorting through my paper taking out the things I did not want to read and they had put it all in the trash. Yes they replaced the newspaper, but nothing comped for the inconvenience — not even the coffee. Too many other amazing breakfast places around here with fabulous coffee, and better service. Try Long Beach Café on Longboat Key, Paradise Bagels in Holmes Beach and Blue Jasper Café on Cortez.

Grabbed breakfast here with the wife during a late June weekday and had a full dining room. The restaurant atmosphere was great surprise in atmosphere when looking at the outside. This is nestled in a strip mall between a «thrift hearing aid» store and a reality office. The inside has about 10 booths, an old school breakfast bar and a few 2 person tables smattered about. There is a chalk style menu on the wall with the desert, specials, and drinks of the day. The menu itself is pretty large, a diner style 3 page foldable. There is a variety of traditional breakfasts, skillets, omelettes, pancakes/french toasts. Pretty much anything anyone could want for breakfast. I liked the look of the«2 eggs breakfast». 2 eggs any style, 3 pieces of a meat, 3 pieces of french toast, fresh fruit(or grits/potatoes) and a biscuit. The portion sizes were huge. The eggs were great and I would imagine more than 2 eggs, I got the sausage link butterflied and cook on both sides. The fresh fruit was… Fresh and delicious, few slices of cantaloupe, strawberries, honeydew, and pineapple. The star of the breakfast was by and far the biscuit. Huge, fluffy, and delicious. All for 9.99. My wife got a smaller version of the breakfast, the eggs, meat, biscuit and fruit(no french toast/pancakes/grits). She ended up snatching a majority of the french toast off of my plate. While it was great, I was full from the fruit, eggs and biscuit. The service was great, the waitresses were nice, the bus boys were nice and the management was excellent. Great place for an out of towner, or an in towner wanting a cheap, filling, delicious breakfast stop in.

Very busy on a Saturday at 10:30. 4 of us got seated at 11:00. Took only about 15 minutes to get our food. I got the hunters skillet and my husband got the sausage and gravy skillet, both very yummy and huge portions. Food was very flavorful and were well prepared despite how busy they were. We also had mostly full glasses most of the time. Despite the wait I would certainly come back, but just try to come back at a less busy time. We also took a slice of coconut cream pie to go and it was AMAZING!!! Absolute perfection.
