The Zombie apocalypse has arrived and its wearing ill fitting red polo shirts and khaki pants. A fine example of the completely brain-dead work force available in Bradentucky. I purchased a new Sony DVD player and the Breaking Bad DVD series at this Target. The new DVD player ended up scratching the crap out of the brand new never played DVD the first time I tried to watch it. Skipping, freezing, dead stop. Return to store with both DVD player and the ruined disc. Got a refund on the DVD player. Store did not have a replacement copy of the DVD so they would not take the return and told me to try back at some later date. I return to the store about 10 days later and they have the replacement copy which I have to fetch off the shelf in the back 40 of the store and go up to the service desk. Show my receipt; show the damage to the clerk, have the replacement DVD. Well, I guess you have to absolutely WATCH the complete transaction because the service desk drone gave me back the ruined DVD in the bag and I didn’t notice at the time, nor did I notice until just today when I finally hooked up the new DVD player I bought somewhere else and was ready to watch something. Imagine my unmitigated delight at seeing the same crappy scratched up defective disc I thought I had returned to the store in the bag! DELIGHT! Oh, joy! I can go back to the store for a 3rd time for one stupid $ 10 disc. There were 2 things on the counter for this transaction. Is it too much to expect that the correct item end up in the bag? I guess it is at this location.

The location may not be the greatest, but I’m a fan of this Target! I recently began working back in Bradenton, so I often find myself in this area of town and when I do, I usually always have a reason to stop in at Target. In all honesty, I actually prefer this Target over the larger, more crowded location off of University. I also find this Target to be much more organized and clean. The layout is standard, and I believe there is a Starbucks inside(don’t hold me on that though, I never eat/drink in Targets so I never pay attention, I know, bad Unilocaler). Everything is organized, and the clothing sections aren’t chaotic like they can be in other Target locations(ahem, University). I actually feel that the selection here is better and less picked over. Being that this is the one Target in all of Manatee county, I’m grateful that it is very decent! Oh and, the parking isn’t a nightmare here either!

The staff is rude as can be. I know that it was 20 minutes before closing time and the staff was tired but that’s no reason to be rude. I needed to get a few last minute things before a trip I was leaving for. Sadly I won’t be going to this location again. Ever.
