Beware if you need paint. I am not sure why they are habituality understaff in the paint department. This has been our experience at all the area stores. It was a very busy weekend with only two people in the department. We waited over an hour to get one can of paint. Not good. Not good at all. Not worth the hassle.

I’ve been trying to renovate a very small kitchen for 3 months now. Bought all my cabinets and appliances during the Veterans Day sale. Buy more get more? Yep damaged and dented. Still waiting on cabinets and had to send fridge back today huge dent in side. Save yourself the headache and time. Buy local. It may cost more but going on 4 months without kitchen? Add it up.

I searched online for a toilet seat. So I go to the store, and see a sales associate, and simply asked where I could find toilet seats. He walked me right there, asking if I knew what I wanted. By the time we got to the aisle, he reached for the exact seat I needed and took it off the shelf for me. So helpful, really wish I got his name!

I live Hillsborough county and have rental property in Manatee. I went to the Home Depot on Cortez and bought 800.00 worth of paint. I asked for the 5% back like you get at lowes with their credit card and they told me they only do that for contractors!
Every Home Depot in Hillsborough match the 5%.
I feel sorry for people that keep going back there. Go to lowes or come to Hillsborough county great service there. I think they make up their own rules here. I will never go back.
When I got back to my Home Depot in Hillsborough County, I showed them the receipt from the store in Manatee and they could not believe it! The store manager gave me my 5% back off the 800.00 purchase from Manatee County. Great customer service just not at the store on Cortez.

Very kind, helpful staff, and that’s the biggest asset.
All big box stores have the same inventory — it’s the staff that makes the difference. The staff at this Home Depot location made me a customer for life. We painted our own home and the paint rep was very kind and patient in explaining what we needed to do the job ourselves on a tight budget. We couldn’t be happier with our home — and saved a TON doing it ourselves!

Don’t count on getting your purchase in a timely manner! We bought a stacked washer/​dryer on the 14th had to wait until the 17th for delivery they showed up with the machines but no stacking kit, they left with the machines rescheduled for the 18th. Showed up with the kit but no machines ! Had to reschedule for Tuesday. There was no one to help me on Saturday. I got a smart mouth asst mgr who said they are not staples where he can push a button to get it done. And yon she things worse we got 3 automated calls around 5:15 saying they would deliver in 30 mins. They never showed! Am I asking too much from this big company??? To save yourself DO NOT shop here! There is no concern whatsoever of customer satisfaction!
