Lost a shipping container with my sister’s belongings. Corporate claims container is at store. Not there. System can’t seem to find it. Now at least a day behind and the added expense of rehiring the day labor to stand around while U Haul looks for it.

The rental process was quick and easy. I started an online rental, but I hesitated when it came time to enter credit card info to hold the reservation since twice in the last couple of years I’ve had to deal with a cancelled credit card due to the business getting hacked (Target and Home Depot). I did not complete the online application and decided to complete my rental as a walk in. I was able to walk in and walk out with a truck within 15 minutes. The people were friendly and I got a very new cargo van that was spotless and didn’t reek of cigarette smoke the way some trucks I’ve rented have smelled (not from this location). If you need to rent a truck and want to forgo their insurance, you will need your existing credit card and/​or auto policy account information. I couldn’t find my insurance card so it cost me an extra $ 10 for company insurance. Overall process was quick and easy. Online rentals default to partial days so make sure to double check your time frame before committing. A 4 hour rental is the same cost as all day.
