Not the best gyro I have had, but it was certainly the largest! Great prices too. Although, I found the quantity of tzatziki quite lacking. I’m torn on this place. If I went back I’d definitely ask for less meat and more onions and tzatziki.

Was in town for Bears training camp and after camp had ended, I Unilocaled the nearest restaurant. Niro’s it is. The employee stated that 1 was enough but my hearty appetite, I could eat 2. I ordered 2 gyro’s. Each gyro was quite large and fresh. Service was quick and I loved it. Thanks

Nyro’s Gyros are HUGE! Good fast-food type gyro served in heaping portions. There are many other things on the menu including hotdogs, chili dogs, cheeseburgers, Italian beef, and salads. The Greek salad with chicken was a pretty good lunch for me yesterday. The dressing stole the show for me.

Best gyro I’ve ever had! Plus they have a great special of buy 3 get the 4th free. The portion size is huge and the taste is simply amazing! Try the single, I bet you can’t eat two of them! I plan on coming back to this place the next time I visit!

Best Chicken Gyros I’ve ever had. Meat was fresh and the sauce is to die for. Although there was a long wait on the food I did not mind at all. Will be coming back again! Also the cashier was very helpful he informed us there would be a wait on certain items and recommended what to get.

This use to be me and my husbands go to place when we wanted to eat out until the last few times we have been there. We decided to give them another try last night. First my husband ordered two hot dogs with fries. Then my son ordered a cheeseburger with everything. Then my husband order a pizza puff and a fry for me. The guy taking his order said that they were out of pizza puffs so my husband called me and i ordered a cheeseburger with just raw onions.(they put grilled onions on it.) About 10 minutes goes by and the guy taking his order came walking out and said that they were out of buns as he walks out the door and gets in his car and leaves without saying anything else. My husband called for the person in back and a man who doesn’t speak english came up front. Another 10 to 15 minutes goes by and the counter guy finally comes walking in with a grocery bag full of buns. This was just not worth it. The new fries are not good! And the new guy who takes the orders usually has a bad attitude! I miss the old Niro’s Gyro’s!

Huge portions and good meat make this customer a happy regular. The fries are delicious and necessary with a gryo. The sauce is not too overpowering. My only complaint is there is so much meat given I run out of pita.

This has great gyro plates. I ordered the double so I could have leftovers the next day. They also have a triple! I’d go back and want to because I’d like to try their chicago dogs and Italian beef. They have 99 cent falafels Id like to try also on the first of every month.

Gotta get a gyro. Giant portions. Eat til it hurts. Ask for an extra pita. Prices are fair. Staff is friendly.

I love gyros, I’ve even been to Greece and had some really good ones. I stop by here once every time I’m in town for a Single Gyro. No, it’s not the best I’ve ever had, but it’s pretty yummy in my opinion. It comes with tzaztiki sauce, tomatoes and onions. The single will fill you! It is A LOT of meat, and for the price, you can’t beat it! You’ll be stuffed afterwards, and I don’t even get the meal version that comes with fries. Haven’t tried their baklava yet but plan to one day. It’s $ 2 and some change, but the portion is fairly large sized for that as well. Would recommend!

Reasonably priced, big portions, tasty food. Is it Jean Georges? No. Is it all you are looking for in this genre of restaurant? Yup. Thumbs up. PS: they’ve moved since this location was originally listed.

I’m not a calorie counter, but I try to eat as healthy as possible whenever I dine out. Buuut, sometimes you just feel like a gigantic gyro to blow your diet for the whole month. That was me this weekend. For some reason, gyros just popped into my head and so we stopped in at Niros. Niro’s used to be further down the street, but is actually closer to Olivet now.(I can’t find the actual new address to change the Unilocal listing, but it’s right next to Jimmy Johns & their address is: 225 South Main Street Bourbonnais, IL) I’m actually kind of surprised that they moved. This location is a lot smaller and has a lot less seating than the old location, BUT it’s right across the street from ONU, so they’ll be getting the hungry college kids, obvi it makes sense. We ordered 2 gyros + a fry and drink and it came to $ 14.00. Not entirely bad for the ginormous gyro that was presented to me on an orange platter. Super greasy, super hot and super delicious. Next time, I’m going to ask for an extra pita cause they put a whole heckuva lot of meat on that little pita and I could definitely make that last 2 meals. Come here when you’re not in a hurry. They make everything fresh so it can take about 10 minutes to wait for your food. Those 10 minutes are excruciating when you see someone else’s gyro being delivered and the salivation that ensues that you can’t stop. The girls that work the front counter are really nice and patient too which isn’t always the case with fast food, so I gotta give them a little shout out.

Stopped here while driving through Manteno on business. Awesome service, awesome food. Was a nice change from Subway and other fast food chains.
