Papa John’s Pizza

been to one papa johns you’ve been to them all. standard frozen or premade crust. all tastes the same but i guess it hits the spot when yer cravin some pizza. we used the 50 percent off code this time because believe it or not. hold the press… the white sox won a game!!!

Whoever was answering the phone was EXTREMELY rude! They had a 10 dollar offer for a large pizza, and they wouldn’t let me have it!

Papa John’s pizza is my favorite. Ever. Ever ever ever ever ever. I could live off of Papa John’s pizza. Straight up cheese pizza is the way to go. Order extra garlic sauce. Every bite of every piece of Papa John’s cheese pizza should be moderately dipped in garlic sauce. Do it right.
After moving out of Kankakee County, I am now forced to frequent the Schererville location. I have so many fond childhood memories at youth group and special school occasions eating pizza from here. Maybe that’s why it’s so special to me in my adulthood? Mmm.

I’ve never been a huge Papa Johns fan, but I won a free pizza through the Super Bowl Coin Toss promotion, so I figured why the heck not?
I ordered a large Italian Sausage and Bacon pizza along with an order of cheese bread. The pizza was free, we only had to pay $ 1.75 for the additional topping, plus the cheese bread.
Here’s the breakdown for me–
–Original crust — not my favorite type of crust (I prefer thin or Chicago style) and there’s doesn’t do anything to change my mind. It’s pretty plain and unimpressive.
–Sauce — I don’t particularly like their sauce and that’s usually my favorite part on pizzas. I prefer a bolder, more seasoned sauce.
–The best part about ordering a pizza from Papa Johns is the garlic sauce that they give you.
–Online ordering is really convenient and easy.
The cheesy bread was fantastic and I liked that they gave you 1 garlic sauce and 1 pizza sauce to go with it.
I will say that pizza is usually a matter of opinion. My brother is the biggest Papa John’s fan ever, while it’s only just okay to me. It depends very highly on what you like (crust, cheese, sauce, etc.) Unfortunately, Papa Johns just doesn’t do it for me.
