I’m boosting my review a little bit. I went back to Sally today because I needed a few hair-related items that Walgreens didn’t have in stock. There was a really friendly lady working today that made some recommendations for me based on other items I was picking out. I give her 5 stars for customer service. I did end up signing up for the Sally club, as it’s $ 5 to join and I got a discount on my purchase today. I also got a $ 5 coupon for next time. If you plan on shopping here frequently, I recommend signing up for it. The selection of hair related items is unparalleled in this area. I bought some hair extensions from Sally 4 years ago for my wedding and I still wear them to this day(so kudos for that.) Their makeup is still«meh» to me as I’ve never heard of any of the brands they carry so I just walk right past it. If you’re looking for something in particular, I would recommend stopping by Sally to see what they have.

Every time I visit I ask for assitance, as it is a beauty supply store one would expect customer service to be provided around tips and general knowledge. One employee in particular… when I ask for help every visit says, «We’re not allowed to do that I can’t be liable for the outcome.» What kind of beauty store says that? Ulta or Sephora would never give such pathetic customer service. They are eager to help you and willing to show and offer you products. If an employee there said that I’m sure they’d be fired! With such a lack of customer service I would be surprised if this company survives with all of the business that are much better opening up around it!
