I called and reserved a limo for my daughter and her six friends for a big concert up in Chicago. The owner Rob was very nice on the telephone and he told me the total cost would be $ 380. I asked him again just to set it in stone and he told me again $ 380. The day of the event, A limo driver showed up on time yet with a terrible attitude. Before my girls could even get inside of the limo, the driver demanded payment including a 20% tip that was NEVER mentioned. Obviously I was going to tip but to demand a 20% tip right off the back did not sit well with me. Basically, this man was not going to let us into the vehicle without cash in hand. I asked him to call the owner and he did. The owner gets on the telephone and said that I must have misunderstood him and claimed to have told me about the 20% tip. Our concert was starting in a couple of hours so I felt like I had no option but to pay at this point. I only have a certain amount of cash as I planned for one price. I told him I would give him the rest of the $ at our next pickup in a town over. Upon getting into the limo, my daughter and her friends found wine glasses that the party before us was drinking out and left. The owner knew I had a group of girls ages 7 – 17. We had no water or soda as promised. When we reached the neighboring town to pickup another mom and daughter this man demanded the rest of the payment before getting into the limo. She was floored as he was super rude about it. At this point I called the owner and demanded water and soda for the girls as I promised. The limo driver stopped at a gas station and purchased one soda for each person for our ride that took two hours and forty five minutes. The entire ride we had to smell cigarette smoke coming from the limo driver. It was already 90 plus degrees outside and the air was not working properly. We finally arrived and I was told another driver would pick us up. My husband called and complaint while we were in the concert. He was told that the driver who picked us up was a subcontractor and would not be used again. We was picked up by a woman named Jessica who was THEBEST! She was very apologetic about our experience going up to Chicago. She was not a subcontractor and actually worked for the company. She had cold drinks for us, let us stop at a gas station to get snacks and all. We had a smooth ride home with no issues. I personally would not use the company again because of the first driver. He was such a rude person, demanding $ upfront, alcohol left in vehicle, no drinks for us, smoking etc… He sealed the deal for me. I was not offered any $ back, a coupon or anything.
