Worst manager and customer service. Wanted to return an online shoes which looked worn but they said they cant refund and can only allow to change in store. The discussion did pointed that I was trying to return a worn out shoes. Really felt bad and i left store. Wont return to this aldo shoe store again

I give them no stars. Worst customer service and worst products ever. I brought back the 2^nd, yes 2^nd, pair of shoes I purchased there, that I wore for less than a week and they broke at the seams. I was told that they could only send them to a cobbler.
The first time they were a gift and I fought with the manager stating I wanted my money back and was only given a merchandise credit.
The most recent time, I bought $ 60 black flats for work. I work in an office and only wear them in the carpeted office. I would never usually spend $ 60 on a pair of flats, but they looked nice, I had birthday money to blow, so I bought them. I wore them about 3 times and noticed they started ripping at the front seam. They totally fit me too.
I of course lost my receipt, so I took them back asking for a merchandise credit. Again I get the cobbler offer. I refused and said I’d look for the receipt. I couldn’t find it but printed out my bank statement showing I purchased shoes there less than a week and a half ago. They said they needed the receipt to look up the transaction and were really bitchy to me the whole time. I could see if these were $ 15, but $ 60 and made in CHINA?! They sold a shoddy product and should have given me a refund, receipt or not.
So I sent them to the ALDO cobbler on ⁸⁄₂₂ and it is now 3 weeks later and still no shoes. They told me last Friday they would be in Monday. Tuesday I called to double check (everyone is incompetent there) and they were not in.
I’m hoping they lost the shoes so I can just get my money back!
Don’t buy from them. They are all snotty and not customer service oriented AT ALL. All they’re «European sized» products are made in China. You’re better off going to Marshalls or TJ Maxx.
* UPDATE: I had to email the headquarters in CANADA to finally get my money back. They apologized and gave me a 20% off coupon. Like I might buy anything else there after finding out EVERY, SINGLE SHOE there is made in China, falls apart and they provide the worst customer service ever.
