Eddie Bauer clothing is always great, what makes this store even better is it’s staff, Jen and the gentleman working with her(sorry, i didn’t get your name!!) were super friendly, and helpful without being pushy. These two are the kind of sales associates every company should want. They were knowledgeable about the product and I would go back to this store specifically just because of my good experience with them.

This isn’t about the store, the employees are very friendly but they did force me to sign up for their points card without really asking but whatever. I got gloves, which are normally 40 $ but after sales where you get $ for trying a down coat and some other discount I got the gloves for around 15 $ and they are down gloves. And these gloves lasted a month … It started ripping at the seams ard 2 weeks and I don’t even do anything with my hands! I’m sad that this brand is loved by so many but has been the worst gloves I’ve ever owned– I coulda bought nicer gloves at a cheap store that wouldn’t rip on me like these did !

if you like flannel, you’re going to be right at home in here. e.b. is open in the south shore plaza, apparently taking aim squarely at the new north face shop almost directly across the way, and is usually a stop-in for me. i like eddie’s gear, especially their bags and the little gadgets you can attach to them, and this store has a plethora of both. i get concerned when i see eddie offering things like navy blazers, but those are here too. also available is their new line of first ascent gear which looks quite useful if you’re one of those mountain-climb-in-the-winter fools. the store is well staffed and they’re knowledgeable about the merch, so … quite what you’d expect. overall, for cold-weather gear and camping gear, eddie’s worth a look. and, you know, if not, north face is right across the way.
