Motel 6

I use to work here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!! There are prostitutes that live in the hotel rooms in the back of the hotel. I use to have to clean their rooms. The pimp use to walk around the premises, and it really freaked me out to see all the naked pics of the hookers in the rooms! For that reason alone, I would never being my family here!!!

This is the utmost horrendous establishment I have ever dealt with. Not only was I overcharged for less than mediocre accommodations, the manager Corey Smith was rude, unprofessional and crass. I was given the wrong room 3 separate times in one night and ended up having to cut my getaway short because the hotel was not able to provide me with the room I had reserved a month in advance. I realize that it is not an upscale hotel but at the very least, I should have received what I paid for. Do not waste your money here. You would honestly be better off sleeping in your car overnight. If I could give it negative 5 stars I would.

In a city where the hotels are notoriously overpriced and customer service is almost comically infamous, this Motel 6 stands out as a clean, affordable choice, with friendly, helpful staff, and decent accommodations, especially given that it boasts one of the lowest rates in the Metro Boston area. If you’re looking for a cheap, no-​frills, but clean and comfortable place to get a good night’s sleep, this Motel 6 is most certainly your best choice.
Moreover, the rooms have all been remodeled within the past year or so. The flat-​screen TVs, complete with HDMI and RCA inputs for laptops and gaming, and simple, low-​budget modernist furnishings stand out against the crappy floral bedspreads and CRT televisions one usually finds in this price range.

Cheap room, cheap linens. We only were there to sleep. So it was fine. Don’t expect luxury if you stay here. But why would you at the price? The room was clean and biggest pro was the proximity to the train. That’s the biggest selling point.

Let me start off by saying that we will never be staying at a motel 6 again. We were booked at the aloft hotel in Lexington for 3 nights but as it so happened, we needed to stay one more night in Boston. Everything was booked so we settled with the motel 6 given it was easy to access by the red line.
When we got there, we checked in and headed to our room. When we got to our room and opened the door, I was hit with the overwhelming smell of urine. It was discussing. The sheets didn’t look fresh at all and the towels on the wall had a few hairs tucked in between them. The door to our room looked very unstable, as if someone can just break in easily even with the latch. Only slept for no more than 4 hours.
Now I can take all of that but what really made me cringe is the ‘please rate your stay’ card that was on the bed actually had stains and something that looked like a grain of rice on it which I found very ironic.
If your looking for a cheap stay somewhere and don’t mind any of the things I mentioned, by all means. It is a convenient location next to the red line like I mentioned before. But beyond that, I can’t write anything else that was too my liking.

This motel is disgusting. Wanted a non-​smoking room, first thing I smelled when I opened the door is smoke. The room is dirty, the sheets are dirty, the sink is broke and water goes everwhere when you use it. I have never stayed at such a disgusting hotel in my life. I would have never picked this, it was chosen for me. We are visiting some sites in the Boston area thank god we are leaving tomorrow.

Booked 8 rooms about 2 months in advance for a 2 night stay. NEVER will we stay there again. Charged different prices for the same rooms. Rooms not ready at same time, water in sink ran slow and drained out even slower and never got pass slightly warm. Requested refrigerator to put Medication in. They didn’t have any. Said I could put them in the office during my stay. One person paid for Wi-​Fi, could not get. Asked for refund, told to see person they gave money to (person not there). Towels barely big enough for an infant to be wrapped in. None of us (9) said anything nice about the place except that we were glad to be leaving. We paid over $ 130.00 a night to stay, but it felt like a $ 40.00/$ 50.00 a night place. We all agreed that this was the worst place we had stayed in our ⁵⁄₆ years of coming to the area.

I would rather sleep in the dirt than pay actual dollars to sleep in this loud, uncomfortable, ac never shutting off, shower squealing, vending machine not working. The damn cigarette and marijuana smell nearly choked me out. I want my money back this place sucks

Probably would not stay here for more than one night.
The hotels I usually like to stay at in Woburn were sold out one weekend I visited Boston. I thought this place wouldn’t be too bad… it was $ 100 for the night while some of the others around the region were double. Boston hotels are ridiculously expensive for whatever reason.
It is close to the Red Line into the city… the ride itself is maybe a half hour. There’s shopping and food nearby if you need it.
The front desk girl was nice. She had her son there with her who was a handful and was waiting for his dad to come get him, I guess.
The Motel 6 has two buildings. My room was in the left hand corner in the back of the 1^st building… quite a walk from the parking lot. You do need a keycard to access the hallway to get to the back which is nice.
The room itself was a smoking room. It was okay for the most part but I noticed a burn hole in one of the sheets. WTF? I tried to get moved to another room but the hotel was sold out for the night. Thankfully, I didn’t spend that much time in the room to begin with.
Proximity is public transit is this place’s only strong point… I got back to the motel a little after 2am (yay for MBTA late night subway service… finally!) and there was a Braintree cop in the parking lot. That’s usually never a good sign… what the hell has gone on here?
I probably won’t stay here again if I can help it. I’ve paid less at nicer hotels just slightly north of the city.

Seriously, this place is a big «dont even bother». A complete waste of time. Go up to Wood Road, spend a couple more dollars, and get cleanliness, comfort, and a good nights sleep without the traffic keeping you up all night. AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THIS!!!

Noisy area, beds aren’t that comfortable, teeny tiny towels best suited for toddlers or midgets, shower drains never work properly, vending machines are always out of order, creepy folks congregate here although there’s usually a cop parked overnight which is either comforting or unnerving. Housekeeping will pound on your door repeatedly at 9AM and scare the hell out of you. No «do not disturb» signs here. Location is a plus tho, right across the street from the red line, but crossing the street on foot is terrifying. Front desk staff has always been pleasant, but I’d only stay here again if I was absolutely desperate. I’d rather spend a little extra money and stay elsewhere. I’d say this is a «last resort».

I would rather pay $ 200+ a night at the holiday inn or holiday inn express then $ 200+ for two nights at this hotel. Stains all over the towels and sheets, One washcloth when two people was staying in the room, even had a fly in the room as soon as we enter the room. The shower was half cleaned I honestly had to wipe down the toilet before using it with disinfected wipes, And how can I forget the burn holes on the sheets and blankets. I was very unhappy with my stay at this hotel it’s the f****ing worst!!!

It’s not the Ritz, but it’s a great reasonably priced hotel in Greater Boston.
The T is literally across the street and it’s a short walk to restaurants, CVS, and the local library.
Our room was very clean and the hotel staff was AWESOME. They were helpful and went above and beyond to assist us.

This motel is a means to an end.
The obvious benefit is it is within right across the street from the Braintree station, giving you easy access to downtown Boston. Additionally, HBO is available. Unfortunately, that is where the benefits end.
When we first arrived, there were a few moths and other insects in the room, likely from housekeeping leaving the doors open while cleaning.
The sheets had a large suspicious dark stain. Thankfully it was on the fitted sheet and on a portion of the bed that I wouldn’t contact.
The shower drain was not working properly, and the water will fill up quickly during even a relatively short shower.
Housekeeping provides soap daily, but apparently they do not carry shampoo.
All of this needs to be balanced with the price. Depending on the deals you can find and from which booking website you use, a room can go down in the $ 80 – 90 range per night, which was the lowest I could find. I most likely would not return to this Motel 6, instead choosing to drive home and seek the comfort of my own bed with a pillow that isn’t as flat as a pancake.

Don’t waste your time or money. Terrible service. At a loud, busy intersection. Hair all over the front and back of the pillow covers on both beds, dirty and embarrassingly stained blankets, dirt all over floors, used towels (folded up for use), some liquid spilled on the night stand, unprofessional employees, even more unprofessional manager, very rude and immature when notified of dissatisfaction with quality and cleanliness of the room. We were renting 3 rooms, got a refund, went down the street, spent a FEW dollars more at Holiday Inn Express and loved it. The rooms, area, and service were incomparable.

They don’t change the sheets. Watch them to make sure you have clean sheets. Upon arrival I was given a room that had already been booked. Luckily I’m a nice person if it were me two years ago that stuff may have been gone. Had to wait for a new room. Not bad room. Not clean either. $ 100 rooms. You get what you pay for. False. I’ve gotten rooms for 79.99 way better than this.

Was soll man von einem günstigen Motel im Raum Boston erwarten, richtig, nicht all zu viel. Wir übernachteten 3 Nächte in diesem Motel. Interessant für uns war neben dem Preis auch die Entfernung nach Downtown Boston bzw die Anbindung an den Nahverkehr, und beides ist fast schon unschlagbar zu dem Preis. Ja, die Zimmer haben bessere Zeiten hinter sich, erfüllen aber ihren Zweck. Es ist halbwegs sauber, die Dusche funktioniert, ebenso die Klimaanlage. Alternativen gibt es nicht, außer das Budget ist signifikant größer.

I have a fairly high tolerance for crappy hotels, I do.
Obviously I’m not expecting the Ritz Carlton here, but there was a moldy dark ring in the bathtub and hair on allegedly clean towels. That killed it for me.
The bed wasn’t terribly uncomfortable, although we got stuck in a smoking room (ick). The décor was cute, and the desk lady was fairly nice, if skeptical that her fax machine would work.
Overall: unimpressed.

Horrible and scary! Reserved a queen non smoking, got 2 double beds and smoking instead. Unclean bathroom and wash cloths. Put me next to the garage which was noisy all night. The heating system sounded like a diesel truck idling in my room. They didn’t care. Total ghetto

I honestly don’t see why everyone here is complaining, you get what you pay for. And when I arrived here I was expecting a LOT worse. I actually thought their décor was quite modernized/​trendy.
I can understand if you’ve come here and encountered bugs of some sort. But my experience involved no bugs.
The lady who assisted me with the check-​in stuff was incredibly helpful and pleasant.
The one thing I wish this place had was a hair dryer. And maybe student discounts.
