Kymer Campground

I have been coming here every Labor Day weekend since 09, and I absolutely love it!
A great end of the year function with about 30 of my friends and family. It is located in Branchville, NJ, which is about an hour and a half from the city. The trailer rentals are excellent, with a stove, a television, hot running water and a/​c. However, some trailers have a limit per person. The amenities are great, they have a pool with a hot tub, volleyball, tennis and basketball court, miniature golf and an office/​store. There’s also a hiking trail, a lake to fish and rec. center with daily activities (depending on season). We get the same spots every year, so we are able to walk to everything. We have seen bears, though only seen them a couple of times.
The only bad thing I have to say is they need work on their hospitality. They can be a bit rude at times, and are picky on some of the rules, particularly the check ins, visitations and parking.
There is a curfew, quiet hour is at 11pm, believe me, they told us to quiet down a few times, and the camp fires have to be out by 12:30.
The overall experience is great and I highly recommend thus campsite. I’m sure there are other ones that are better, but, this one is the most convenient for us.
