Book Corner Tampa Bay is the last used bookstore still open to the public in Brandon. With the digital age swiftly sweeping through, this 27 year old used bookstore maybe nearing its end.
It’s a small book store, offering both paperbacks and hardcovers. There are a few comfortable chairs to sit down and get a sample of your future purchase. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and helpful. With a seven page children’s book running $ 12, I think the prices are a little high for used books, in my opinion.
With one third of their collection either rare or collectable books, there may be a future yet for this type of business in the digital age. If you like to read, or like to collect books, this store may be for you. Although, I wouldn’t really recommend it for children’s books.
