We tried Boo’s Smokehouse today for lunch and will be back! Service is super friendly and the drive thru window is really convenient. I had the pulled pork sandwich which had just enough smoke flavor, but not overpowering. The sandwich was big — I couldn’t finish it — and it had plenty of pork on it. Their BBQ sauce was delicious too and they don’t drown their sandwiches in sauce. My sides needed a little work — fries needed to cook a little longer and the slaw needed more salt. Fiancé had the brisket sandwich and onion rings which he raved about both. Give it a try!

Pulled pork sandwich tasted like a sloppy joe, nothing good about it. Also, I asked for slaw on my sandwich and got home to see there was no slaw was put on it. And I was charged extra for it. Fried okra was average, fried pickles were actually really good. And I ordered a ½ slab of ribs for $ 10.99 just to get home and see 6 small, individually cut bones. Almost $ 2 per rib bone?! SMALL janky rib bones? No thanks. That’s absurd! Spent $ 22 in total just to enjoy some fried pickles, basically. I won’t be back. I’m not one for bad reviews, but I have to be honest about this one. Better off going to Willies a block away. Better food and better sized portions.

I got a pulled pork sandwich, fried dill pickles, and macaroni and cheese to bring home after work. The sandwich was large and tasted good. It wasn’t anything fancy, but with barbecue that’s a plus in my book. The pickles were fresh out of the fryer and delicious. The macaroni and cheese was certainly on point. Having a drive thru is a plus in my book. The ability to swing through and pick up something better than McDonalds or Little Caesars on the way home is great.
