I’ve never written a review of this place although it’s on my regular rotation. I really like this place overall. Reasonable, great pedicures and fast service. It looks a bit ghetto inside, but don’t be scared, check it out.

Tyler was amazing! Definitely will come back when I’m in town again and will recommend to locals. The pedicure was perfect, literally the best one I’ve ever received and the gel full set was shaped and painted to my exact liking. Great atmosphere as well.

I woke up sad. Grief is a backpack one carries around always. Some days you know it is there because of the weight. Sometimes you forget you carry it, but are reminded when someone else mentions it. Others you become curious again as to how this could have happened and you open it to peek inside. The zipper making that peculiar sound as your heart mimics it by re-breaking. When grief strikes me, I need some pampering. Some beautifying. Some hand holding. I started doing my manicure at Brandon Hair Nails & Spa two years ago. I am okay with driving that far because I can never go wrong with any of the nail technicians. Normally I pick Danny if he is available. When he is not, another can take care of me. They know my face. They know I am loyal. They know I return. I never color my nails. I do them with white and pink acrylic. They use the molds and the French manicure comes out perfectly. The salon is huge and was just renovated recently. Clean and spacious. The wooden floors. A flower here and there. The chairs inviting rest. «Are you too warm? Too cold? Would you like some water?» The talkative in me enjoys the conversation while he or she does my nails. The obsessive compulsive in me loves that the nail polish collection is far from the tables. Carefully organized. Uncluttered space no matter where my eyes go. The lazy in me loves that the polish dryer is right under the table I am sitting. I cherish the hand massage and the beautiful smell the lotion leaves me with. I needed that yesterday more than usually. Unfortunately there was only one technician who already had a client. She smiled and asked me to wait for her, but I couldn’t. I wanted to. But I had to be elsewhere and on time by 12 O’clock. I did the unthinkable. I walked a block of stores in the mall and I went to Lee Nails instead. I can’t say it was a terrible experience, but it was so incredibly different that I won’t return. The place is small and crowded. The nail polish bottles all over the place, out of place, misplaced… a crack addicted rainbow. Abandoned water bottles filled with left over liquid or tea. Lotion jars for the pedicures… lidless and unorganized. The bathroom door opened wide for all to see. It is not even a beautiful bathroom one might decide to showcase. There were TV sets playing CNN. I go and do my nails to take time off from real life. My technician was dexterous. He was fast. He never spoke to me, really. Unless I count the greeting – «what you want?» or the«I’m sorry» I got when I absent-mindedly cursed aloud as I felt pain when he was removing the old acrylic. He asked me if I wanted to remove the material by using acetone. But of course I did. He answered his cell phone about five times. I felt invisible. As he sculpted then, my cuticles bled a bit. But he did not know me. He did not know they are sensitive as the Brandon Salon has come to know and be careful about. As I paid, he asked me kindly if I liked them and handed me a card to use and redeem every time I return to eventually get some savings. My nails look great. He did a very nice job. But for the same price, I could have felt differently. No massage. No lotion. No pampering. No handholding. A chore. A tad of antiseptic to protect my fingers from infection. A bill. French manicured hands holding a backpack heavier on my shoulders.

First, I got my mani and pedi with Kathy(Nickname Rosa) and she did an excellent job. Very clean and love the color of my polish. Then, I did try their eyelash service and it was my first time and I got tears but after it was done, looks good and just have to get used to it. The staff are nice. Will be back again.

It was pretty busy I went in on a Thursday night with my 17 year old daughter. I explained to the man she wanted a pedi with a fill –in and cut down. She was seated right away for her pedi and they have 3 choices to choose from we went with the regular one. Once her pedi was over they asked her to sit at the drying station to let her toes dry. I was taking back cause there were several stylist just cleaning up for the night. Instead of seating her to start her nails they were more concerned with leaving for the night. Meanwhile a new client walks in and is seated immediately to do her nails while my daughter is still waiting to start hers. After seeing what was happening I asked the gentleman at the counter what time they closed. He stated that they closed in 5 minutes but that he would make sure someone stayed later to do her nails. After waiting an additional 10 minutes I paid for her pedi and we left. Nails never got done and no apology. We are never going there again!

Just had to go here for a wedding emergency since my nails looked absolutely terrible. Luckily, this is conveniently in the mall so boyfriend could do his thing, while I got pampered. I chose the most expensive pedicure option since I had been on my feet a lot due to work. In hindsight, it was a bit too much in services than what I needed. There was the standard scrub plus rose mask plus paraffin, etc. What had me sold to try it was the hot stone massage, but I have had better massages than what that guy tried on me. I got my toes done in pink and white. The guy did an excellent job and put my shoes on after the fact. A bit worrisome since I didn’t want my toes ruined, but he skillfully put them on. On to my nails… I had to get my old shellac removed and then she started on cleaning my nails. Everything was going great until she was cutting off my cuticles. She ended up nicking me twice on my left ring finger which led to bleeding. I guess it happens, but 2 nicks on one finger is not fun. She cleaned it up and finished my nails. She even added a design on each of my ring fingers. I left with a total of $ 85, not including tip. I would never typically spend this much for a mani/pedi, but I was spoiling myself for my mini vacation.

By far the worst nail salon ever. I get there I sign in my name with what I need then 1 hr later a short guy with like 3 long hairs growing out of a mole on the side of his chin said«what are you here for» I told him I sign in and I put full set of nails. So he proceeded to ask why I wanted that if my nails look find, I had my old set for about a month plus one nail fell off okkkkk!!! WEIRDO. Then he told me to sit down and with nail clippers proceeded to painfully yank my old set out as I kept telling him he was hurting me and never apologized for it. Then started glueing in the white tip but put so much glue that he glued my skin to the nail also, the station was full of paper work, a mini iPad and an I phone which he kept texting on in between fingers. The n he started to file my nails and it was so painful cause with his finger nail he kept digging at my glue skin that was glued to the nail. Buffing was horrible, shape, pinky was bleeding and he didn’t even care. The worst nail job I’ve ever received. At the end he said he was not going to charge me for taking off my old set cause he knew I waited to long. My fingers have been throbbing the whole day and hopefully the pain will go away soon.

Knew they would be busy due to the holidays absolutely loved the girl Neena who did my manicure but will make sure to avoid the older oriental gentleman who did my pedicure in the future first thing i noticed was he failed to remove all the old polish, nor did he do anything to the dry patches on my feet then he did neither a base nor a top coat on my toes! Why didn’t I complain in the business? I saw the way the management was barking orders & was a little intimidated my only reason to return will be the sweet little manicurist.

I decided to splurge on a mani and pedi for an upcoming event. This turned out to be $ 40 at Lee’s. I wouldn’t have minded the high price if the results were decent. Instead, the nail technician did a splotchy job. She seemed rushed and careless. While spraying my nails with a quick– dry spray, she ruined the polish on one of my nails. Instead of apologizing, she brushed it off and just reapplied the top coat over it. I later noticed this left bubbles that once dried left a bumpy appearance. Furthermore, you could still see where the polish had been damaged under the topcoat! I had also pointed out that she had missed areas on both hands. I had to convince her to reapply the polish which she was very reluctant to do. Bumpy and splotchy application, rushed customer service, and high price– I recommend skipping Lee’s and trying a different salon.
