Lil Sprouts

I couldn’t be more pleased with the variety and service provided by the people at Lil Sprouts. The staff has been nothing but courteous and helpful. The prices are reasonable compared to places like Once Upon a Child. I also consign my toddler’s clothing, toys and gear here and absolutely love the rate of return I get on my items. As a consigner, I am thankful that there are policies in place that protect the items I am selling. The goal is to sell my items at the highest price possible (within reason).

I give the store a one star because I can’t give it zero stars. The people are rude, they won’t let children play with the toys before they buy them even though the toys are used and most of them don’t work correctly. I would strongly recommend staying away from the store

PLEASE ALL NEW MOMS OR OLD ONES, LIKE ME. PLEASE DONT ENTER THIS STORE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!! Like I said, I am an older mom. My second time around at 40! So I’m not that stroller, car seat savvy, I’ll be the first to admit that. So that’s why I asked for the help of the worker there. Well, first off, the car seat she sold me was for toddlers. After I’d already told her how old my baby was. Then the stroller didn’t have any safety belts inside. It was something ridiculous like $ 200, used! So I’m thinking I’m getting the best there is & safest for my child. Right? WRONG!!! So, 3 days later I bring the items back after having the time to go over & clean them up really good is when I noticed the seat-​belts were missing & I didn’t notice anything wrong with the car seat except for the sticker that said, for 2yr. & up. I think? Something like that anyway. The same girl was working there again & she even said she had a baby the same age as mine. So I trusted that this stuff would work for my baby as well. Didn’t happen. So, she tells me. Mam, we don’t sell strollers without seat-​belts! Like I took them off for what reason I still don’t know? I’ve got nothing to gain from taking seat-​belts. LOL! Then just stood there staring at me like, what else can I not help u with? So I asked her if she could call her boss, the owner? So she acts really put out & calls her. She tells her if I’d have brought those items in sooner she might have been able to do something. But I guess 3 days is too long! I forgot to mention that I live in Sarasota, so it’s not a 5min. drive to that store! And all I wanted was to trade the items for ones that I could use. Didn’t want a dime of money back!!! Just a car seat & stroller I could actually use!!! I finally said forget about it & went to Target & bought the set. New in the box. No missing pieces there, how strange! Just call me the «Seat-​Belt Bandit» LOL! Where do they find these people?

I came here looking for a rock and play sleeper for a friend which they had (yay)! The staff was friendly and greeted us as we walked into the store. The store of a little confusing but we found our way around. The had a much small selection of seats\swings and clothes compared to Once Upon a Child but their prices we lower (only by 5 – 10) dollars but it was still a bargain. They did in the back fo the store have baby furniture like cribs and changing tables.

Love shopping here. Everything is priced reasonably and everything is in great condition. I also consign here and the process is very easy going. Love being able to view which items of mine have sold via the website. Keep up the GREAT work ladies! ;)

This is a great store but the lady with the long black hair who is always working there is rude, miserable & obviously hates her job. Such a shame because the owner is so nice.
Update: March 2014. I have been notified that new ownership is in place & the miserable employee no longer works there. Due to this I am upgrading from 2 to 3 stars.

Great children’s consignment shop. Not a much selection as the store across the street (Once Upon a Child) but their prices are much more reasonable. They have a good selection of clothing, accessories, toys, and even maternity clothing, bedding, etc. I stop in here once a month or so.
