Mattress Firm Clearance

I can’t emphasize enough about how the sales person can make all the difference. I went into the Brandon Mall location (Brandon FL) to buy a new firm king size name brand mattress set. Duane was very helpful, friendly and knowledgable. When I finally decided which model I wanted, he recommended a very high end clearance set that he’s just got in. With reservation, I accepted the idea and bought the clearance item. When I got the mattress home and took it out of the plastic, I found that the mattress covering was ripped open about half its length. It looked like someone had picked it up by the handle and the material had given way. I was worried because clearance items are non-​refundable or replaceable – they’re sold as is – but I also knew that federal law still gave me 3 days to cancel the transaction. I talked with Duane. Although the company’s policy didn’t accept returns on clearance items, right from the beginning Duane was on my side and tried to do everything he could to ensure that I was satisfied. In the end, all worked out. I ended up buying a new mattress, at a good discount, and the company delivered my new mattress and picked up the clearance mattress at no charge. I don’t enjoy shopping so the entire transaction was a bit stressful and I was planning to write a negative review because of the condition of the clearance item but by the end I was very satisfied with the purchase. Wow! An amazing shopping experience! And I do not look forward to shopping. My wife and I came to the Brandon Town Center Mattress Firm. We were greeted by Duane, the store manager. He allowed us to check out the wide variety of mattresses without any pressure. When we were ready to ask questions, he was readily available. In contrast to many of today’s sales people, it was evident that Duane was extremely knowledge of the entire inventory. He actually made the experience extremely enjoyable. Upon selecting our mattress, we felt knowledgeable and comfortable that we had purchased a quality product at an excellent price. A big tip of the hat to Duane and the store. This was my best shopping experience ever.

The sales woman Phyllis was wonderful. She was not pushy at all. She was very knowledgeable and helpful but let us take our time and decide what mattress was best. I give her 5 stars. However the delivery was terrible. We had our delivery scheduled for 5pm-​8pm the next day. We received a confirmation from Phyllis in the morning to confirm delivery. The delivery guys didnt show up until 10:30 at night. We never got a call saying they were running late until about 10 min before arrival. I give them no stars. Reviews on mattress firm are up and above 600 negative reviews. The company has some work to do in the area of customer satisfaction. We are glad we actually got our mattress and that we were blessed with a great sales rep like Phyllis.

After shopping around for a mattress for my son heading to college, we walked into Mattress Firm at Brandon Town Center and were immediately welcomed by a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Manager Nick S. went above and beyond with service that is difficult to find these days. He knew what he was talking about and made sure we were «comfortable» with our selection. We will definitely be back when it’s time to purchase our next mattress.

My husband daughter and I walked in and were quickly greeted by John. We stopped in on our way to a competitor store. In the market for a Queen mattress set we told John what we needed. With John’s expertise and knowledge we were guided in the right direction. After sitting and laying on many mattresses we narrowed it down and made a decision. The store was closing and we were not rushed or hurried in any way. John was very professional and very engaging will all of my family members. As a result of John’s wonderful assistance we walked out after purchasing a KING size mattress set for ourselves and TWO queen mattress sets one for our son and one for our daughter. I will highly recommend Mattress Firm to anyone looking for honest, friendly, professional, affordable, and quality service and products. Fast and flexible delivery is also available. Do yourself a favor and shop Mattress Firm and ask for John. He’s awesome… and pretty funny too.

Amazing service, no pressure from the manager, Nick, to make a purchase and we got a great price! Convenient next day delivery was a plus. We are loving our new mattress, I highly recommend you shop here if you are in the market for a mattress.

We were immediately greeted at the door by a sales associate offering to provide assistance. We immediately explained that we were not looking to purchase today but trying to get idea of what we liked for a few months down the line. The sales associate continued to discuss the sale currently going on, etc. This ‘pushiness” is always a turn– off to me. The associate finally left us alone to look around. They have a good selection but I was not impressed by any specific sale or deal. We were able to get a good idea of what type of bed we did like. I don’t know that I will be back to purchase anything from here.
