Pelahatchie Bay Trading Post

This is my favorite hangout. Lots of wisdom & it’s all free! (But not from big John). We give advice, but we sell cheese! We have experts in all fields ready to opine. The night watchman can often be found napping outdoors on his gurney during daylight hours. Excellent food as well, with beautiful & gracious service people.

Wht they lack in atmosphere they make up for in friendless…
The place is always crowded In the mornings… be prepared to smell like smoke and food aromas when u leave…
They do have a dining area and the service is efficient and extremely relaxed… the regulars know to help themselves to the mile high pile of assorted brkfst biscuits and endless cups of fresh brewed coffee… the chalk board menu is loaded with an array if brkfst choices and they are many…
So far I’ve only tried the sausage biscuits… expecting them to be like everywhere else… and wow was I surprised pleasantly I must say… a nice Suze portion of sausage patty with jus the right amount of heat and the biscuit is delicious soft and tasty…
So if ur just passing through or have time to sit it’s a good lil spot to try out.
