Shop is great. Has an eclectic and unique customer base. I usually hear a good deal of super-​nerd talk reverberating off the walls.

This is the best comic shop in the area. Tons of comics. Great discounts. The staff are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. The staff make this place great.

Small store huge selection the back issues can get overwhelming… make sure you set aside a hour. Lots of new items at an average price. If u are a cheap comic collector add this spot to your list.

Went here for free comic book day on May 3 and ended up buying way more than expected. Was extremely impressed by the staff, inventory and knowledge. Will absolutely shop here again.

I think if I was born in the 70s/​80s I would have been the hugest comic book nerd. I’ve been raised in the 90s though, surrounded by manga from Japan and Sonic the Hedgehog Archie comics (that I know and love). However, I have occasionally used my library card in the past to check out some comic books and enjoyed them.
Read More Comics is located behind Angelina’s Italian on State Road 60. It’s really easy to miss if you don’t pay attention when driving. I stopped by there today to get my Step-​Dad a birthday present (shhh it’s a surprise). I shopped at another comic book store by the AMC Regency 20 for Father’s Day, but their selection was limited and the store was cramped so I wanted to try out this place after hearing about it from a fellow Unilocaler.
The place is larger than it’s AMC 20 competitor and has a huge selection of comics. I wandered the store for about forty minutes. Checking out their wide selection of graphic novels (all 25% off too — sweet) and comic books. They had all the major superhero comic book collections and in the back I even found a 20^th anniversary Sonic the Hedgehog book that I happily bought. I couldn’t help but notice some superhero lights in the back, especially the batman light (one of my favorite superheroes next to Daredevil).
The owner was really helpful and suggested quite a few comic books to me. I eventually decided on an Avengers graphic novel for my Step-​Dad and bought myself a Spider-​Man graphic novel as well as the Sonic comic. I’ll probably be back to try a new comic soon.

I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that I’ve been to dozens of comic shops; I haven’t. Perhaps ten total.
But, this place is great. The owner is pretty friendly and helpful. He’ll order anything you want if he can. You can tell him what series you’re interested in, and he’ll hold it for you and give you a discount on it.
Also, the place ALWAYS has 25% off graphic novels, which is awesome. If you can hold out long enough the store also has crazy sales (at least 50% off) periodically throughout the year (Black Friday, New Year’s Eve, etc.).
My only complaint is that the owner once recommended Marvel Zombies (terrible and ridiculous!).
