Would not stay here. Bad parking lot. Dirty sheets. Beat up furniture. Stinky room. Staff is not very helpful. Walked in and walked out. Head on down to Pearl for a better selection of lodging!

Room was horrible. Reaked of smoke for what was supposed to be a non smoking room. Bathroom in complete disrepair. Worn out beds. Big mistake staying here at any price!!!

We stay in a few places every now and then. Ok. We get around. Rarely do we write reviews highlighting the bad unless you just need to know. We would start with RUN!!! Here’s a list of issues. Some may be relevant. Some may not. * Quoted $ 55.00 through * 1st room not made up * Window open * 2nd room window open * No kleenex * Approx. 6 minutes for hot water in the shower. * Towel rack over toilet falling * 2 towels only and one looked dirty * Sprinkler head over bed covered with plastic(clear and obvious code violation) * Something causing allergic reaction * Beating and bumping majority of the morning. Determined to be nearby I20 road construction * Horrible smell in stairway corridor * Looks like drier vent tube hanging from ceiling in stairway corridor * Bed was extremely lumpy. Cheap mattress needs to be tossed. Foot of bed raised significantly higher than head * Carpet separating under AC indicating leak. * Carpet felt crudding and compacted with dirt. * When asked about recent inspections manager became hostile * We asked for a refund. NODICE. * Wifi would not stream a simple webpage. Showed conneted but would drop as soon as you tried to browse. During checkout we was provided a receipt. It concerns us that we was billed $ 55.00 plus junk fees however the receipt was for $ 49.44. Somethings fishy here. We was tired and in need of sleep during the #ExodustoTexas and we chose Red Roof Inn at this location. We’re sorry Hampton Inn. We won’t do it again.

In my one night stay at this hotel I found it to be quite comfortable for only $ 50 a night. My main complaint was the noise coming from trucks outside the hotel and other random noise inside; the walls must be somewhat thin. I tried to stay in this hotel on the return trip home a week after my previous stay and found it to be completely full. That night I had to stay in the Downtown Jackson Red Roof location which was an atrocity compared to this one. I found the staff here to be friendly with a fairly clean room. They also allow dogs at this location with a 12pm check out. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone stopping around Jackson, MS.

Where do I begin??? My job entitles me to frequent hotels on a regular basis. My stay for 8 nights at the Redroof Inn was at best sub-standard. Beginning with very HARD beds, complimented with rough bedding, only to be surpassed with the fact that the room keys had to be programmed daily to allow access. Becoming extremely irritated, we realized that a room key was a mere formality, because any room could be accessed with a credit card between the door-jam and the lock. Too add insult too injury, I had to terminate a cockroaches life on the ceiling of the hallway right outside of my room. The cleaning lady misplaced(took) our tv remote and it took 2 days to receive another with frequent requests. Also I might add, that there was no HBO or any premium movie channel as advertised by any other MARJOR chain of hotels. The walls were condum thin and I was forced to listen to my Arabic neighbors«honeymooning» regularly. Last but not least, the front desk service(Or lack there of) was extremely rude and inattentive. Reservations are not honored for the owner believes in a «first come, first serve» policy. In closing, I will highly consider staying in a pup-tent behind an automotive repair facility before I stay in this establishment again.
