Maybe it’s because I’m not a kid anymore but this place doesn’t seem to be what it once was. They have pretty much any toy you can imagine, which is good considering the name. Which is really what earns the stars. The store does its job, nothing spectacular though. Customer service is always mediocre and store just seems old, dingy and dated. On the plus side the store is very well organized and it’s easy to find things. Located near the Westfield mall so parking and traffic gets really rough on weekends and holidays.

Place is nice and clean and most of the staff is always helpful. I visit this store once a week to check out the cabbage patch kids, ninja turtles and Star Wars items. All are displayed well and stock is most always current.

Toy stores are awesome, and this one is no exception. Large, clean and well stocked for Christmas shopping for the grandkids. Prices seem fair, choice of toys is enormous. Before we knew it we had been in there for over an hour. I even caught myself playing with a few toys here and there. Just makes the kid in you come out !! Found all I was looking for(sand more) and off we went. Location is it’s biggest negative. Located near Brandon Mall, traffic can get horrific. Also, the layout of the store is a bit maze like, so it can get confusing. We lost each other a couple times. So these things knocked it down a star. Other than that a great place for toys !

#193 How could anyone not like Toys R Us? It boggles the mind. If a toy is made, they got it. The store was clean, stocked and all the clerks we dealt with were helpful. What more could one want. Oh, go early, Brandon mall has the worst parking arrangement I’ve ever seen.

I remember being at this location last year and being told by a staff member___“we are finally renovating this store”!! Yeppie… finally! So, yesterday when I walked into the store… my joy was soon met with disappointment. What renovations have they done? Seriously, other than adding the Babies R Us to the storefront… and possibly adding a few more isles of baby stuff(b/c the Babies R Us location on Causeway has closed)…what else is different? The shelves are stocked full on some items and empty on others. There is not a clear layout of the store… so, you end up walking around in circles. My personal favorite was the electronic car in the middle of an isle… clearly a kid just took off in one and abandoned it. This is by far the dirtiest Toys R Us store I have ever been in. While on a Sunday, they had more store associates working than I have ever seen before, it still took forever to check out. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location.

This store had gone MAJORLY downhill over the years. It’s always dirty and toys are strewn everywhere. No one is keeping up with the stocking or straightening up. I came with a friend around holidays to shop for her kids and we were totally blown off by 2 out of 3 employees when asked for some help price checking an item that was totally out of place. Although it’s a big store the prices aren’t very good considering that just about everything they sell can be bought elsewhere now.

Shopping at Toys R Us nowadays reminds me of yesterdays when I would drag my parents there and run around the store while I looked at hundreds of toys before I convinced them to buy me one. I always felt slick, but then nowadays I realize we would have never gone if they weren’t planning to buy me something. Today I usually shop for my cousin or nephew and most of the toys are really cool or totally not. The video game section is so huge now, it’s like it’s own video game store standing on it’s own. They have a lot of baby stuff too, which is kinda surprising since Babys R Us is not too far from here, but I suppose it still sells well. Navigating the halls can sometimes be a pain, especially when a parent blocks the entire aisle with their cart and just looks at you when you’re trying to get by. Workers are usually pretty friendly and quick to help you out with whatever you need.
