3 stars for food, 0 stars for customer service. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before. The woman behind the counter really seemed to dislike us. Not a smile from her as a greeting, while we were ordering, or when we thanked her as we left(or a «you’re welcome,» «have a nice day,» etc. for that matter). She handled our money, then assembled(and smashed down the contents of) my sandwich with her bare hands. She offered another customer the more-healthy option of whole wheat bread, but not for us. Did not ask if we wanted half or full-sized sandwiches, just charged us for full.(We did not realize there was an option of half or full since this was our first time here.) Received many stares from her as we were eating. A very uncomfortable experience here.

Very good food and the staff is very nice and welcoming. Have been several times since we moved here… love it for a quick yummy lunch!

I give 1 star cause the lady was nice. You would think this place that bills itself as a soup and sandwich shop would have homemade soups? Well was I surprised when I was handed a bowl of good ol campbell’s for $ 4.00 :(

Great little place to stop for lunch. I eat here frequently. My only complaint is their hours. I always get the impression they just want to «get by» and don’t really put effort or care about feeding people. Food is great if you can catch them open!

Modest interior dining space with a few tables and chairs. Very creative selection of different sandwiches. The two sandwiches we ordered came out very well made. Prices were average to above average. Not a fine dining experience but as far as sandwich shops go I had no complaints.

Came up for business and stopped in for lunch. I had the Cajun Turkey and it was amazing. I asked for it pressed and honestly made it twice as good to me as I am a big hot sandwich fan. Definitely worth checking out. I know where I’m going for a good sandwich whenever I’m in the area now.

Well I’ve been here twice. The first time was good but the second was a huge disappointment. The young girl behind the counter doesn’t know what a Caesar salad is. She gave me a salad with peppers and carrots and onions on it. It even had iceberg lettuce. I told her I’m allergic to peppers, and the sign didn’t say it came with them. She said rudely«Cesar salads ALWAYS come with peppers.» Wow.

How does a place like this stay open. It advertises to have chili and chowder but had neither the day we arrived at 1 pm. Plus, poor quality food. On the plus side, the staff seems nice.

Had fresh made sandwiches that were good quality. We are vegetarians — there was only one item out of about 20 on the chalk boards, and we got it. A hummus wrap with fresh veggies. Very good, nothing unique. After we sat down we noticed a small handwritten signs that listed a couple salads — missed that entirely. Other than that, you build your own and there are plenty of fresh ingredients. I would recommend that they make up about 3 more unique veggie combination sandwiches and list them in the premade chalkboards for ease of ordering. No complaints — you get used to scant choices as a veghead. Friendly and a nice lunch on a Sunday.

I honestly don’t know why but it seems like all my favorite sandwich places are all in Vermont and this place is right at the top of my list of great spots for a Sandwich. The staff is always friendly, the sandwiches are always absolutely amazing and most importantly the prices are great. When I lived in Brandon I used to do lunch here at least 2 or 3 times a week. They have a great area to sit, eat your food, and read the paper. The only thing to note is that it would be nice if it was move clear that there is lots of parking in back and you don’t have to park on the street out front. This was never an issue for me cause I lived in the area so knew about the parking but I expect lots of people have no clue.

This is really a nice gem of a place on Route 7 and thank goodness they take credit cards. It’s a nice quaint place with plenty of unique sandwich options. I had the pastrami special of the day and nice airy sub roll that was soft on the inside with a nice crustiness on the outside. It added a nice texture to the sandwich. I had some pecan cookies which had the perfect amount of softness and sweetness. This place is also modern and clean and doesn’t look old and tired in comparison to some of the other restaurants in the area — which are few. The service was quick and easy as well. I’d come back in the future.

An apparent glutton for punishment… I stopped on my commute home for another sandwich. The sandwich builder was a much nicer person than the last one I got, I will say that. However, the chicken salad wrap was so salty… I couldn’t even eat it. I did ask her to salt it but I think she dumped the shaker on it. And I’m a person who loves salt. :( It was like throwing $ 7.50 out the car window. Guess I’m done trying to get good food there.
