Free beach with few frills. There are bathrooms and changing rooms, and the beach borders a park, which has some nice picnic areas and shade. Lifeguards are on duty. There are lots of kids running around but they don’t dominate the beach. There’s a huge lots of Branford residents and about 15 – 20 spots for non-residents. They say there’s a two-hour limit for the smaller lot, though I’m not sure who’s really enforcing it. Feels like a «residential beach,» but for sand, water, and sun, this small beach did the trick.
