I ask for the food allergy listings and am told to look it up myself online. I look at my iPhone and can’t find it. Wait, you’re the business and are too lazy to print the allergy info up yourself so it is handy for customers? Half the favors have hand made magic marker signs, the other half are real signs. Krupz and Froyoworld have real flavor signs That tell me if nuts, dairy or wheat are in their product. The kicker was the mom yacking on her cell while her kids ran wild and danced to the music– bye, bye.

So so… not terrible, not great. The machine area was clean. The topping area was clean and maintained. There were few offerings for me because I’m a vegan. I had the pomegranate sorbet. Whoa very sugary. but that’s to be expected? I’m grateful for any place in CT where I can enjoy something and a dairy eating companion can enjoy something as well. The cashiers were nice. Music was playing. Easy to get off 95 and back on to 95.

Extremely over priced, very expensive for yogurt that is nothing but average at best. Better off going to dairy queen for half the price. For those that say yogurt is better for you — wrong — once you put your toppings you are no better off. The place is clean and neat — i would hope so since you are certainly paying for it — good luck !

Cleanest, best tasting froyo I’ve ever had. Everything about this place was nice; the décor, the employees, the flavor choices. Since my daughter has allergies, I was pleasantly surprised when the employee helped me by showing me the ingredients lists of all the flavors. The only thing I would change is putting labels on the toppings bar. But the hot fudge and hot caramel pumps make up for that!

I have been waiting to try Nuvita since it opened earlier this year and I was not disappointed. Out of all of the create your own frozen yogurt places, Nuvita was by far the cleanest and had the best atmosphere. Although they were fairly busy on a Friday evening, spills were cleaned up immediately and the workers were consistently refilling the toppings. They have about the same amount of flavor choices as any other place but the quality is definitely superior. I tried the red velvet, cake batter, and caramel– all were delicious. They not only have many topping choices but also many more syrup choices than I have seen. Like I said earlier, Nuvita has the best atmosphere since they have many tables and 4 couches for people to relax with their yogurt. I will definitely be going back on my next visit to Branford.

This frozen yogurt spot has been open for about a month according to the employee who was there today. Hidden in a difficult-to-find unless you’re looking for it spot in a strip of restaurants and stores in Branford, this is one of the many new frozen yogurt places to have popped up in the area recently. I went for a visit today to check it out. There is a small parking lot for this spot and a few other businesses it shares with the building its located in. It’s close the the Branhaven Plaza where Big Y and Kohl’s is and not far from the Walmart and Starbucks down the road. Location, if a bit tucked away, is convenient if you’re running errands in the area or need to go to a store close by. There are a few modest benches outside for those who prefer to eat their froyo outdoors. Inside looks very clean and modern. Walls surrounding the self serve frozen yogurt are tiled in various colors of brown. Browns and tans are the theme — the central colors of this spot. A few space-agey looking couches, big and small, and some tables are there for people to enjoy their froyo in the store. When I walked in the employee was walking around giving tiny sampling cups to people to try some of the flavors. I always judge how good a place is by their original tart. It was one of the better ones I have had in a while. I filled my cup with six different flavors: original, dutch chocolate, cookies and crème, cake batter, dulce de leche and tropical banana. Other flavors available but I did not try were mango sorbet and pomegranate sorbet. The toppings bar was decent but not overwhelmingly intriguing, but I topped some of my flavors with fresh mangos and strawberries and others with crushed chocolate cookies. The fruit was fresh, sweet, and delicious. The yogurt was some of the best I have had in a long time — particularly the dulce de leche. Great stuff!
