Good food for price. Good service as well. A note about the bubble tea, tapioca was not good(too hard)

Our family loves it here. The food is always so delicious and everyone is super nice. Can’t go wrong with the spicy noodle!

Every time we eat here, our meals are perfect. Bursting with flavor, and fresh ingredients. My meal wasn’t part of the boxed lunch combo, but they were still kind enough to offer it to me, without me having to even ask. They have lunch specials every day, even weekends. The Tom ka ghai is the best soup I’ve ever had. We also enjoy their drunken noodles and their hot basil with white rice. It’s a quiet and relaxing atmosphere; one of our favorite spots. Prices are spot on. Large portions. Not to mention, no hassle of going downtown!

We had take out and dine there several times over the last months. The food is really decent, well priced, and the environment to dine there is good Being used to Thai food, we appreciated that Siam is cooking quite typical and well spiced food and not this type of hybrid«Asian» bland cooking that you see in some places The green papaya salad is a must

My husband treated me to dinner at Siam Orchids for my birthday. We have dined there many times in the past several years and have never been disappointed. We enjoy the beautifully appointed dining room and the staff are pleasant, courteous and always attentive. From start to finish, the food is excellent. Try Siam Orchids, you will be happy you did.

My husband and I have eaten here several times now, and every time it was been extremely enjoyable. They have a wide variety of food to choose from, friendly staff, and the portions are perfect. The décor of the restaurant is really enjoyable and nice. I haven’t had a bad experience yet. My only wish is that their curry was thai spicy. I haven’t ordered takeout, yet, from here, but I’ve seen several others do so and they have a nice sitting area for you to wait in and package the food nicely to take hom.

We love it here, good food, good service and delicious drinks. I would suggest the fried wontons or the wonton soup they are my favorite. The only downside to this place is that the pad thai isnt what were used to(not that good).

My boyfriend and I struggle when it come to finding places where the food is consistently good. We were extremely happy with our experience here. We have gone a few times. Each time we order soup a few appetizers and two entrées. Yet to find anything that disappoints. Everything is very good.

Don’t ever order near closing time of the restaurant. The whole meal was undercooked and bland. They obviously rushed the order because they were more worried about closing the place and going home. I have had good meals here before so it’s not like they can’t cook good food. It was waste of money tonight, next time If I order it definitely be before 9:30. I just think it’s not good business.

Best Thai iced tea that I have ever tasted, it was fantastic! Had the masaman curry which had great flavor but the veggies were a bit undercooked. Would definitely go back again and try something else.

Good food. I’ve only ordered takeout from here. The food comes out fast. The only thing I didn’t like was that I ordered some drunken noodle with chicken and seafood and I barely got any. Mostly a bunch of thick peppers. Appearance: 4 ½ Food: 3 Service: 4

Worst chick pad Thai I’ve ever had. I’m sticking to new haven, worth the drive. Not to mention my order was wrong. Be careful if you have shellfish allergies, I don’t think they change the pans and utensils. I thought I was eating shrimp pad Thai.

I go to Siam Orchids a few times a month. It is very clean and the staff are have a little area with come fact that they friendly. I also like that they have a comfortable waiting area if you are ordering takeout. I love their Pad Thai and Glanga Broth soup. The food is always fresh and it is reasonably priced. Although I have not really dined in yet, that is the next thing that I plan to do. I heard that their beverages were good as well.

My husband doesn’t like Thai food(he’s a monster, I know) so any time someone comes to visit me and wants to go out for food, I ~casually~ suggest this place. It’s so so good. I usually get the tofu drunken noodles with extra broccoli or the spicy basil stir-fry with tofu, and then ask for the hot sauce. They also do fantastic bento box lunches, with spring rolls, AMAZING vegetable soup, salad, and fruit for dessert. They also do fried ice cream(YES!) and Thai iced tea, so even your sweet tooth is sated. Everything is well-priced and the service is always quick and friendly, and I really want to buy their elephant table cloths. Like, a lot. This is definitely one of my top-five places to eat around here.

Hands down, not only the best Thai restaurant within 30 miles, but the best restaurant period in Branford! Food is fresh, hot and consistently very good. Our faves are any of the noodle soups, Drunken Noodles, Yellow Curry, chicken curry puffs(appetizers). Fresh, crispy vegetables, white meat chicken, tender pork, it’s all good, hot fresh. and when they say spicy, they mean it… and that’s a good thing. The staff is incredibly friendly and they took good care of their takeout customers as much as their dine in customers…(smart) Also, they know how to pack takeout food properly so it doesn’t spill. love this place and l love the people that work there. Don’t bother seaching, just go here for takeout and dine in.

I’ll start with the bad and end with the good. My biggest concern is with the freshness of the food and cleanliness of the utensils. The bottle of Singho beer they served was 2 months past the one-year expiration date. It tasted ok, but if you’re picky about beer freshness, check the bottle before drinking. The Tom Ka Gai soup was more watery(i.e., less milky) than at any other Thai place I’ve eaten(I’ve eaten at a lot of Thai places over the years). It tasted good enough, but was not authentic. When I pulled the chop sticks they gave me out of the paper sleeve, I saw that they had clearly been used before. They had bits of dry food stuck to them! Yuck! The whole point of using disposable chop sticks is that you dispose of them after each use. If you’re going to try to serve them again, you have to really wash them well. These are made of uncoated wood, so you have to be extra careful. That’s why so many Asian restaurants use plastic instead(or single-use ones). When they came out with a fresh pair from the kitchen, I had doubts about whether they were really fresh. Of course, that took a while because the waitress stayed in the kitchen for a long time after serving me. The good part is that the food tasted good. It wasn’t as spicy as most places I’ve gone, but perhaps that’s a bow to the local taste buds. Don’t fool yourself into thinking this is authentic Thai food, or that it’s better than most, but it was good enough to satisfy my craving for Thai food. I doubt I’ll go back, though, because I feel that the expired product and dirty utensils may indicate a more serious issue with the way they operate the kitchen. Food storage, inventory management, and cleanliness are critical to get right.

Pretty decent Thai food. Toned down a bit for the local taste, yet the menu still has enough items that are as hot as the stitching on Nai-Ra-Ru-Ti’s loin cloth. The décor is typical to Thai places – picture of royal family, various statues, plastic flowers and deafening paint. The pad Thai is excellent, the green curry is crisp, hot and ultimately refreshing. The Tamarind is played perfectly. They cook a nice crispy and not too greasy duck. Good drunken noodles. Excellent Thai iced tea. Great food all around. Whether eat in or take out, Siam Orchids makes for a nice Friday night change from the regular.

This is a cutest Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. The décor is fun — especially the elephant table coverings and orchids on every table. The food is super yummy — some of the most authentic thai food I’ve had in a long time. We had the crab rangoons for an appetizer(yum!) and pad thai, seafood in garlic sauce, and the green curry and they were all soooo good. The waitstaff was really friendly and sweet and even gave us a free dessert of fried plantains which were great but we couldn’t finish since we were sooo full. You have to try this place!

Siam Orchids is our go-to takeout place for when we don’t want to cook. I don’t know how they do it, but they have the most tender, juicy chicken in all of the chicken dishes. I’ve never been to an asian food restaurant that was able to accomplish that so consistently. They also have an amazing peanut sauce that you can order on the side if you want a little extra for your satay or something to make your pad thai more decadent. I keep meaning to order something other than the chicken pad thai and the drunken noodles, but they’re too good. Some day, I’ll branch out. Some day…

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! I am always satisfied with my drunken noodles or drunken fried rice. They are awesome, I’ve gotten take out multiple times and every order is always just as delish as the last! The staff is very friendly, laid back, and the restaurant is very clean! The appetizers are great and they have a absolutely wonderful sweet and spicy soup with shrimp. The staff is always so at home and always prepared for a customer to come in. I just moved away from Connecticut to Reno, NV and I have yet to find Thai food as good as Siam Orchid’s. No place around these parts serve drunken noodles! I miss this place so much and will definitely eat here again if I return for a visit to the east coast! Way to go Siam Orchid’s, you have the best Thai food around!
