Great staff! Very friendly. Best beer in town! Grab a growler to take home. They have some big exciting changes coming soon. Stay tuned.

Really nice taproom, but I thought some of the beer was borderline undrinkable — really sweet and heavily flavored.

One of my favorite breweries to visit. This is our first time at the new site and it’s wonderful. The new brewery has the same great beer as before but more space to sit/play games/enjoy some snacks. If your in the area I highly suggest stopping by and checking out the place.

Eh. It was a fun atmosphere(board games– cool!), people were perfectly nice, music was at a good level— but I was underwhelmed by their beers. Didn’t have that small brewery vibe even though it still should hold that level of intimacy and charm, based on their size. I did a flight and wasn’t particularly impressed by their standards. IPA was okay but nothing stellar. Also tried their 2x IPA and it too was just okay. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing stood out, either. Everything was good but not great. If you’re close by and doing some brew-hopping, then it’s probably a good stop on your tour, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. I was a little disappointed and underwhelmed by their beers. Same place but great beer would have gotten a 5– but let’s be honest, you go to a brewery foremost for the beer, so if that’s just ok, why go back?

This is my second visit but somehow my first check-in. That doesn’t mean anything so let’s talk beer. I love TI’s Coffee Stout(and so does other local micros if you ask them… nice little beer culture in this town!). No food… bring your own. A clean and vibrant tasting room. And a detailed conversation on all their brews are just for the asking. As with any micro, do a flight to see what your palate likes or doesn’t. In a world of hop contests TI’s Coffee may not sound like a summer beverage but it’s my fav so you have to read about it unless you scroll along ;-7

How has this place not gotten reviewed yet? So, Thimble just moved into their new faculty from one Industrial park to another. I’ll say that, sadly, I’m not overly impressed. The main tasting room is small but quaint. The worst thing these breweries can do is put seats around the bar and not allow patrons to get close enough to order. Most annoying thing ever. Take more from Stony Creek and dispose of those bar stools. After finally getting through to get a drink we sat at a table — bonus points for long tables to allow for mingling with other parties. We came here in the dead of summer to find not one IPA on tap. ZERO! BUT… they did have 3 stouts. Seriously? Whatever. Needless to say I had a pint of something(yup, something — that’s how good it was) and off we went. You’re known for Ghost Island IPA and it wasn’t even on tap. It wasn’t even on the menu which means it didn’t just run out. It was purposely not being offered. Come on. The inside is nice, nothing to write home about but not crappy either. Trying to keep with the Thimble Island theme with rope edging on the tables and map like etching on the top. Each table is stocked with board games to help you take your mind off the mediocre beer. There is a HUGE backroom for parties and more tasting space when nothing is booked. Overall, eh. Not impressed. However, I just read they have iced coffee and can mix it with a stout SOOOOO I might be totally into that. Do you open 7am on weekdays?
