Almost Famous Murder Mystery Dinner

We bought our tickets through one of the many agency’s offering tickets to this theater in December. We drove the two and a half hours to Branson, and an hour and a half before the show would start they called and canceled the show siting not enough bookings. Disappointed, they promised us we could use these tickets anytime in 2015. We booked seats again in February made the trip to Branson and just as we pull into town they call us and canceled the show yet again saying the weather. So we went to a different show in town where the actors could in fact make it to the their theater on that same day. Today we call them 4÷11÷15 and we make reservations again. Arrive and woman at the desk was hateful and acted as if she had never seen these vouchers before even through the lady in front of us had the exact same ones. After arguing with her she was very frustrated to see we had the exact same ones. In the end the person she was trying to get help from over a waki refused to come to the front, they recharged us tax on tickets we already purchased as if we had gotten them for free. ALL the people in the line behind us understood what was happening but the woman at the desk refused to listen and made excuses as to how this was our faults for not using the tickets in 2014. We ended up paying $ 70 in the end for our tickets, which is nearly full price plus gas to Branson 3 times and they refused to give us the dinner promised on the voucher saying it is separate and paid for as extra now. The show was good but hard not to fume all the way through it as their customer service skills stink. Many really good shows in Branson to go see that don’t cause you this many problems and actually give you what you paid for on the ticket. So I wouldn’t bother with this one. I will never attend again.

Really fun. We went tonight and brought my mom and our 9 year old twins. Everybody enjoyed the show! We loved that they encouraged audience interaction and my kids tried hard to guess the murderer! It really was fun and a welcome break from the typical Branson shows. I even won an award for funniest answer on my ballot! The food was OK — certainly a large portion. Not the best I’ve ever had but definitely not the worst and my husband cleaned his plate… So can’t really complain! The cast and staff were very friendly and each took the time to sign a paper for my 9 year old daughter, as well as shake her hand and thank her for coming to the show. We’ll definitely return in the future!

This show was fabulous, the performers of the show actually served and delivered the dinners to the tables. They interacted great with the audience and were entertaining and funny. These are young up and coming performers who include the audience in the show. This show was one of the better shows we went to, the interaction with the performers was hilarious and the more the audience would interact with them the better the show became. Kudos to this group. The meal was good as any of the other shows. Had a great time, recommend seeing the show, our show was «It Was a Wonderful Life» Christmas Murder Mystery, but I’m sure their other shows are just as entertaining.
