My husband and I were thrift shopping in downtown Branson a few months ago when I spotted this place and was intrigued. We’re not really gung ho Branson visitors, but I knew I wanted to come back and stay — we wound up going for Independence Day and are so glad we did. It was the perfect spot for a very quiet & relaxing 4th. Crescent Court was built in 1946 and has been kept up very well. It is definitely more a dive, no frills and very basic. It is also currently VERY inexpensive especially when compared with other basic motels and hotels in the Branson area. I found it to be an absolute gem. There were no problems whatsoever during our stay. Management was incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating on a level that I did not expect. Despite being a lower end place this felt truly safe and lovely, we felt well taken care of and all of our essentials(clean bedding, comfortable room, air conditioning, sufficient shower and well working toilet/sink) were more than met. Our cottage also had two chairs, a desk/bureau, small closet, and a new microwave and mini fridge which was very convenient. There’s no phone or wi fi. Not a big issue but worth mentioning. The room smelled very smoky, but that is my only real complaint and it was easily forgotten when we A) spent more time in the room and B) looked at our bill again and realized what a cheap room this was. No, it’s not for everyone, but we love kitschy places with character and that’s definitely the deal here. The pool was small and immaculate with flexible hours. Housekeeping even left a vintage postcard in our room with a note for us. Amazing value. Did I mention this place is just a couple of blocks from downtown AND Branson Landing? So convenient for walking to breakfast in the morning, doing some shopping, and so on. For those who like to drink, it’s also right around the corner from Macadoodles!
