What glitters isn’t always gold. My family and I had the misfortune of staying at the Eagle’s Nest Condo and Resort in Branson, MO Dec 24 — Dec 31. Disappointment would be an understatement. After travelling 8 hours by car we were exhausted and looking forward to settling in since we arrived after midnight. When we walked into the unit(building 29 – 3), we instantly saw soiled carpert, old dirty furniture, mold in the kitchen window, old school Sanyo televisions, mold in bathroom showers, mismatched and missing window blinds, and the list goes on and on. Needless to say, we instantly contacted onsite property management and complained. Sadly we learned that since we booked through a travel club, there was nothing the property management could do. We were told to take our concerns up with the travel club who would then contact the owner. Dissatisfied and tired, we thought to salvage Christmas Eve and start fresh in the morning. The next day when taking showers, the water ran cold after 2 minutes. We discovered there was a tiny and less than standard size water heater. This was a total inconvenience since we had a group size of 6. YOU Guessed It, We Had To Take COLD Showers. When we ran out of paper towels and tissue, we contacted the property management. We were told the maintenance person for our building left for the day but the guy from the main office was nice enough to give us what he had until someone could replenish the next day. The next day, we spoke with another person at the office in-person requesting more tissue and paper towels. He told us someone would be there shorty around 10am. We explained that we were headed out to breakfast and he told us not to worry the paper products would be left by the door. Yep you guessed it, when we returned nothing was left by the door. That same evening after spending a wonderful day out on the town, we discovered water running through the vents and ceiling. Low and behold, the unit above toliet overflowed and water ran through the vents and light fixtures into one of our bathrooms. Yep you guessed again, the loaner tissue given to us by the main office until the maintenance person for our building replenished our stock, got soaked and wet. We only had 2⁄3 roll left in the other bathroom for 6 people. To make matters worse, no one from maintenance came to check on us. We had to mop and clean the mess ourselves. At the time of booking, we paid 100% upfront and we were told also stated on our reservation confirmation we would have access to the newly remodeled indoor pool and water park. After speaking with the main office, we learned that only 3 owners truly had access to the pool amenities and this has caused issues on the property since the remodel. Things were so bad, two people from our group, left early and essentially hated their first time experience in Branson. We simply had the worst time ever and will NEVER stay at Hell’s Nest, opps Eagle’s Nest Condo and Resort ever again. Avoid this place at all costs!

Pleasant cozy rental. Not dirty as in other review so can only assume they got unlucky. From what I can tell each condo is individually owned and furnished. Pictures are available on their site and our family enjoyed our stay. Great place if your looking to stay in Branson but not be in the middle of a busy street. Great view although not as great of the lake as in their pictures but we enjoyed it very much.

Don’t waste your money — many better less expensive options. Dirty — light switches, wall corners, windows, chairs, dishes despite dishwasher. Filthy cracked caulk in BR. Door unlocked on arrival. TAN unit– told someone would come to clean next day. Called one day later to ask if someone did — said«sorry» — nothing done. Rented as «luxury» condo. NOT — has not been updated since built cheaply in 60’s. broken cheap dirty furniture.
