I’ve been on a few guided fishing tours In the past and John is the best by far. He’s very personable and is knowledgeable about fishing in the area along with the history of Lake Taneycomo. It wasn’t even 5minutes after we cast our lines that we had a trout in the boat. Total that day my friend and I caught about 30 rainbow trout. I highly recommend giving him a call!

Easy to get to and it took about 8 minutes before all 4 of us were reeling in trout one after another.
John Sappington is a great guide. He taught me some tricks and taught our 7 & 4 year olds how to land some great fish.
We always had rods in our hands with bait on the water — all we had to do was reel. Highly recommend — can’t wait to go out again.

My husband and I went out with John and had a great time. I being a novice learned some basics, while my husband got a chance to learn new technics and step up his A game. John is very professional and has tons of knowledge. We plan to see him again next year.

great guy, on time, caught lots of fish, nice boat, great tackle, great training on the little things that helped us catch lots of fish. quality tackle, he didnt fish with us just helped and ran the boat. Did a great job netting fish and setting the boat for great pictures. Have john take the picture of you and your fish you will be glad you did. Enjoyed the trout fishing so much we booked a bass trip for later in the week.
