Great service and atmosphere. Waited about 15 – 20 mins for food(as I was expecting). Had the Casey’s Burger and loved it. I would definitely recommend, but if you aren’t a big fan of burgers, probably not the place for you. Overall, I’d give a 4 – 4.5.

Went there around 8 one night to eat recently. The place was pretty empty but almost every table had dirty dishes on it. We sat for 15 minutes and not one person came over to us and we were seated in a very visible area. I watched two waitresses count money for a good 5 minutes. I don’t know if they were counting their tips our what but they certainly weren’t helping anyone. We got up to leave, and the staff looked shocked we were leaving. It’s not rocket science, when people come sit down at a table in your establishment to eat, you serve them. If it was busy, I would have been more understanding but it was not busy at all. We went to Famous Dave’s instead and it was great so now I’m off to leave a good review for them!

Was told to try Rueben sandwich, not the worst but not the best. Workers were nice, and I imagine in the evening it would be more things happening

We walked out before we even ordered drinks! Enough said, but I will tell you more. We were greeted with a very put out host and then IGNORED for 10 minutes… Normally I am patient, however there was only one other table with customers and three waitstaff were hanging out laughing and talking as if we weren’t there. Then when we left, they told us to have a good night… Apparently I have to give them a star in order to post…

I don’t like to give negative reviews, but this place is absolutely terrible. The meal was very low quality. Everything tasted like it was frozen and warmed up straight out of the box. This goes from the appetizer to the main meal to the dessert. I would never eat here again. I don’t understand how this place has become a successful franchise. I also don’t understand the high rating that is received on here. The food is absolutely not good. If you like quality tasting food go somewhere else. If you don’t really care about what you eat then by all means give this place a try.

Clean, pretty safe menu with burgers and salads. I opted for bourbon chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The chicken was bland– sauce watery and without sweetness or bourbon flavor. Mashed potatoes were definitely instant potatoes. My companion had a burger and said it was fine. Good service but food? Not good enough for a second visit.

Ok so I’m not usually nuts about chains but I have to cheer about my most recent experience. The food was tasty enough but the chicken breast was so big it didn’t fit on the plate. The real kicker for me, though, was the server. I don’t remember her name, I know shame on me, she will remember the massive tip, however. In a world where drink refills never happen, she actually brought me more ice and then refilled the drink.

Garfield’s Restaurant & Pub is standard American-style, cookie-cutter, John-Q-Public food. I’m poking a bit of fun as to my eye and taste it falls into a category of restaurants which decorate with sports memorabilia + tools and such to bring that«down home» feel. The menu has a lot of variety so you won’t go begging for ideas. I enjoyed the chicken-cranberry-walnut w/poppyseed salad and it was better than average. The cheesy potato soup was only standard with large chunks of potato and scallions mixed proportionately. Good stuff. My friends enjoyed fish & chips(probably a 7 out of 10), a cheese-bacon burger(7 out of 10; enormous beef pattie) and finally bourbon chicken(6 out of 10). We arrived a little late on a Sunday evening so I’ll cut the wait staff and kitchen crew some slack. What they made up for in speed of service w/food out quick,… they lacked in enthusiasm. Our table of 4 might have been the last to be served. In a pinch, I would try Garfield’s again but maybe not if I was living in Hollister… instead of just passing thru.

Fun location for a family dinner. Food is OK, my mom really enjoyed the cranberry chicken salad but the fish and chips my husband had were just OK. I had the Margarita flatbread, it was a little overcooked but the sauce and cheese were ok. The atmosphere is casual, pub on one side and a decent dining room with a beautiful view of the water. Their drink specials can no be beat.. $ 4 for a long island ice tea? Yes please! Service was fantastic and our waitress went out of her way to make sure my 2 yr old felt special. A solid option for decent food at a very reasonable price.

This is a good place to catch a game. I was not impressed at all with the food. I had the fish and chips, the fish was ok at best the fries were from a bag. My wife had mashed potatoes that we are pretty sure were from a box. Chicken nachos was our appetizer and it was obvious again the ingredients were not fresh it just all tasted like pre made frozen food.

My husband and I had the hamburgers here today and were pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food is very good and certainly worth the price, and an added bonus is the outside seating.

Stopped in for an afternoon appetizer snack. Quick service if not the friendliest server. Nice patio but it was full so sat inside. We shared the chicken nachos which were probably above average. Tasty, fresh, and quick. Not a bad option, convenient. Would try it again but not until after I tried a few more places in the area.

Great food and service. We sat in the bar area and were in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. Usual bar menu and lots of t.v.s

Garfield’s is a handy place that right next to Bass Pro on the south side of the landing. It has a pretty large dining area, as well as a good side bar and nice patio. The menu is pretty basic, but every time we’ve been the food turns out pretty good. They have specials in the bar everyday which I think is nice, and the bar has a ton of TVs. Although I think it’s probably a little overpriced for the quality it’s pretty on par with the other restaurants on the landing.

This place just reminds me of Applebee’s, my food was okay, I got some kind of platter with ribs, chicken strips, quesadilla, and fire rings or whatever. The ribs were really good so just get ribs if you want something good, I thought the chicken strips were good too but everything else was just meh. Service was good and restaurant was clean :)

On the way to Bass Pro my wife decided that she wanted a margarita. What we didn’t know was that her drink would be large enough to set sail with one of those Ducks. It was the largest margarita I have ever seen. We ordered two apps because we are saving our selves for large dinner tonight. Endless chips and salsa and queso. The chips are amazing. Thin fresh hot salty. The salsa was average. The queso was nacho cheese with Rotel and green onions. It was tasty but not what I was expecting. Mandi our server is AMAZING. Between the endless 80s music and ice cold beer I will give this four stars. It’s a place for a nice relaxing time with a beautiful view of the water. I was hoping to watch Sports but every channel had on Oprah. I kid I kid. It was Paula Deen.

Not really sure why reviews are low because our meal and service was great. Burgers and a chicken fried chicken salad. Burgers were huge.
