This is the second time we have eaten at this restaurant and we’d highly recommend it. The décor is rustic, the servers attentive but not hovering, and the food excellent. My sirloin was perfectly cooked to a nice medium rare, and I’d love to be able to replicate their marinade! The sides were ample. My husband had the exotic meats grill and loved it — again. He had it last time and was not disappointed on the repeat. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. Give it a try, mate!

Very weird meal with little taste. We came in one night and decided to sit outside as it was a nice night. Our waiter saw us and then proceeded to wait 15 minutes before saying«hi» and taking our drink orders. Neither of us knew what we wanted so we scoured the menu for what seemed like forever before we both decided on burgers. When we went to place our order, we were told that the burgers were only available at lunch time. And yep written at the top in small letters was lunch only menu. The waiter says that that happens all the time. He was right five minutes later we overhear the same issue at the table next to us. And the man at the table was not as nice as we were about it. Our waiter said they only have one burger on the menu, that came with beets and pineapple on it. Which I thought was weird. I guess I could have been a smart ass and ordered that burger minus this and add that. It feels like common sense to me that if you make one burger with a lot of stuff on it for dinner, why not make all the other burgers you just serve during lunch, that contain less of the same basic ingredients. But I gave up and just ordered what was on the menu. My wife got the chicken kabobs. Talk about under-whelming food. The burger was food and that is about as far as it got. It had no flavor, minus the pineapple on top. No seasoning to the beef, no unique flavor to the bun. You would think even with the fried egg and bacon on top it would be decent… nope, just flavorless. I have had bad burgers and good burgers, but not one before that had the flavor of nothing… of air. The fries were as good as store bought fries My wife’s kabob was chewy and not one little bit of seasoning on it as well. Literally they just cut the chicken and vegetables, skewered them, and put them on the fire. Something I could have done myself for a lot less then what we paid. We had been here years before and it was not this bad. Some salt and pepper could have gone a long way. Food — ZERO Service — 3 Atmosphere(outside) — 5

Visiting Branson from Idaho. Although the food merited 3 ½ stars, we were very disappointed with the facilities and service. We were there for lunch. Waitress was gruff, unfriendly and hurried. Both bathroom doors were propped open in violation of health codes. But the worst part was the grungy floors and tables … like they hadn’t had a thorough scrubbing in months. We were led to a booth with a sticky table … not from never having been wiped down but because of only being lightly wiped and never scrubbed. With little effort I could peel back a layer of sediment with a light scratch of my fingernail. I had to spread napkins down before I could rest my arms on the table. A local diner said its always that way but the food is great. The waitress first asked why WE picked that table, then said management knew about the issue and was working on it and finally showed us to a table with less grunge. Before leaving, we paused to speak with another customer at the table next to us. After three minutes, my slip-on shoes nearly stuck to the floor as I turned to go. Icky!

We are confused with the name of outback and the two outback buildings. One is a pub. We chose the restaurant. They are not related to the out back steakhouse franchise. We had the bush ranger salad with the steak. The steak was very good but the salad was just a pile of head lettuce. The presentation was poor. We wanted to order chicken pecan salad but they said they were out of pineapples so we couldn’t have it. They also said they make the salads in the morning which I’d think would be better fresh given to 730 at night. On our bill we found an extra tax CDF fee and we asked what it was for and the waiter had to ask and he said it was their community development fund. I told him that’s very nice but I’m not paying it and he removed it from the bill. Warning read you check because they are jamming some garbage fee without even telling you. I was tempted to give them a one star just for that but the steak saved them! This time. The tables are also sticky. The décor is interesting to look at.

My wife and I initially chose this place because I had a 50 dollar gift card to «Outback». Well, come to find out, this place isn’t associated with that«other» Outback” place. But, we decided to stay and eat and were glad we did. Our son Aaron had a burger that looked as good as he said it tasted. My wife had shrimp and I had grilled chicken. My chicken came with grilled veggies, peppers and onions. It was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The décor was wacky, with model airplanes and fishing nets and such(Of which I am not a big fan of). I believe that if your service is good and your cooks can cook, you don’t need a «shtick» to draw people in. But, all in all, this was a good meal, a tad on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. Our waiter was top notch as well.

Just Average. We had family in town and figured Outback would be safe but kinda disappointed. I had the NY Strip and everybody else had the Sirloin. Save your money and go for the Sirloin, Better Taste and better Value. Truth be told my Strip was probably a big Sirloin. I never had a Strip with Fat on 3 sides of it. Service was Great and the Place is Clean.

We enjoyed our experience here. The grill is right in the middle of the restaurant like everyone else says. The oysters were good. The French fries were good. The drinks and the service were good. The whole place is interesting and fun.

This is the original Outback Steakhouse, the chain copied them. The décor is neat but the waiters are indifferent. If the place had more pizazz I’d probably liked it more it was like the atmosphere in a dentists office. No life. I had the Aussie grill mix. Buffalo patty, quail, and lamb chops with garlic mashed potatoes and Aussie rice. The sides were terrible but the quail and lamb was great! Overall pretty good but not worth the price.

The food was GOOD overall. Was a little disappointed in the bread, it seemed fried almost? Weird. My sister liked it a lot though. I had coconut shrimp and they were amazing, and the fries were really good too. The atmosphere is awesome. Server was awesome. Oysters were pretty bad. But I guess what do you expect comparing to Florida oysters

The food was good. The steak we got didn’t taste right. The waiter noticed the hesitation, took care of it quickly. Very accommodating. Good atmosphere my lamb was awesome!

Returned again for outstanding food and service. Only one of these in U.S. I had the lamb chops again with hand cut fries. Wife had crab legs and she said they were outstanding. The Lamb chops were the best I have every had in U.S. Or abroad. Highly recommend this place. Waiters in afternoon is Sarah or evening ask for Cheryl and you will get outstanding service.

Been coming here since I was a kid, 20 plus years, and it’s always a great experience. I’m not a fan of oysters but my husband and father are and they enjoy the fresh oysters. Last visit I had prime rib. Very tender, good flavor and the temperature was spot on. I’d recommend the Outback Steak and Oyster bar to anyone looking for a fun, laid back atmosphere and great food.

Friendly, but very slow and inattentive service! We arrived later in the evening, the restaurant was fairly quiet. I ordered the chicken pecan«salad». I was presented with a mound of melons and something resembling chicken and pecans drowning in an overly tangy sauce… in a carved out pineapple. I could only manage a few bites before becoming completely overwhelmed! If you want to go out for drinks and lighter food… the Outback Pub is great! Go there instead.

I drive by this place every time we go to Branson, and have mentioned several times, that I would like to try it out. So on our anniversary, we stopped in, on our way through, with hopes of finally trying out the original Outback. Hmmm. I think I should have lowered my expectations a little, because even though it’s a cool setting, and the atmosphere of the place is unique and special, the food was a disappointment. We ordered the meat platter and expected something extra special, but it was really very ordinary. The food was good, but it wasn’t what you would expect, when you consider the price point. Very expensive meals, not so great food. Meat was cooked right, it was just not amazing, like I had hoped. I like to take a bite and feel like I just went to heaven, and that did not happen. I also ordered a baked potato and it was fairly small, and the broccoli was steamed with nothing to make you want to eat it. I would say that maybe I ordered the wrong thing, and next time I might try something else, but at those prices, I probably won’t take the chance. Disappointing, after waiting so long.

On a trip to Branson with some friends and we decided to give this place a try on a whim. Had an interesting vibe, really pushing the(shocker!) Australian theme. Nice view from a closed in patio area. The food was decent. The girl friend and I ordered Alligator tail for the appetizer. Nothing overly special, just tasted like chewy chicken. It did come with a nice citrus marmalade that was sweet and very tasty for dipping. I ordered grilled trout for my entrée and it was cooked well, nothing spectacular, but enjoyable. Other orders included steak and an Outback Bucket(essentially a shrimp boil with crab legs). Everyone agreed the food was good but not particularly outstanding. The server was attentive enough. No complaints there. The worst part about the experience was being bombarded by flies essentially the entire time we were eating. Kind of off-putting, but I’m easy-going so it didn’t ruin my experience. All in all, an OK experience. With so many other things to see in Branson I’m not sure if I’d return here on another trip through, but it was worth checking out.

My wife will probably give it more stars than me. In my opinion if you call yourself a ‘oyster bar’ presentation is key. Presentation was shocking, to the point where I lost my appetite… For the price this is not great. On the plus side location/atmosphere was really good, friendly service. It’s a pity plate presentation was really terrible.

It’s a bar, a locals favorite. We like it too. It’s a local bar in Branson. You can go to a plastic piece of crap chain. Or you can go here. Enjoy!

Mediocre food. It was tasty but not something I’m going to come back to. I ordered the pork chops and baked potatoes along with a side salad. I asked for no tomatoes and when my salad comes, guess what’s on it? Tomatoes :) the pork chops were too tough to cut with a knife but quite tasty.

We came here for dinner after 9pm on a Friday. The parking lot was pretty dark but had plenty of space. Inside of the restaurant was pretty cool décor and made it feel like we were in a safari. I’m sure others might not care for it but I thought it was good. We were seated in the back and our waiter came by to tell us about the specials for the night. He was pretty knowledgeable about the menu so that was good. There were a lot of things on the menu that sounded good and a lot of variety of food to choose from. I ordered the Full Pound Ribeye($ 24.99) with a side of green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. If you can’t eat that much, then you could order the Sheila’s 12 oz Ribeye($ 20.99). My dad ordered the Coconut Shrimp($ 17.99). They gave us some bread which was in a small bucket. The bread was pretty good and fresh. We waited a few more minutes before our food came out. My Ribeye was great and I actually didn’t need any steak sauce because it was pretty flavorful by itself. However, the garlic mashed potatoes were nothing special as well as the green beans. I tried some of the Coconut Shrimp and that was good; in addition, I had some of the loaded baked potato which turned out to be really good. The baked potato would definitely be something to order if you like them. This was a great place to eat and I would recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
