Place is not even open for business. What’s up with that? If you are setup on Unilocal you should be open for business. The«hours» section on Unilocal showed open.

I was visiting Branson this month and looking for a nicer wine selection than what was available in the local grocery stores. My son who lives in townhad a bad experience at Palate but I thought it was just because he was not terribly experienced with wine. When I went in I was virtually ignored. I had planned to purchase a case or more of $ 30 – 50 bottles of wine but couldn’t even get service. The man was on the phone the entire time I was in the store and did not even acknowledge my existence. He was describing how wonderful his store was and 3.000 wines he tries every year but didn’t seem to notice a real live customer. After 7 – 8 minutes of standing around I walked out. I won’t be back.

So you traveled from a sophisticated locale and thought you couldn’t find a decent bottle of wine in Branson? How wrong you were! This guy knows his stuff and has a serious selection. Although you can walk out of there with an excellent low cost selection to drink today, you can also buy that hard to find bottle at a very competitive price. I am guessing his store is the only place to buy some Balsamico di Modena in Branson as well, and tho’ I could turn my nose up because I only saw 5 year old vinegar, and he only had two gourmet salts, this is a stretch because in truth, this is the place! So let your lady friends walk around downtown, here is where you will shop!
