I was called 1÷27÷15 by someone stating they were from RCA(first lie) to buy a vacation package for the purpose of attending a presentation to increase their star rating. I was then transfered to Charlie Leon, salesrep at Spinnaker. The deal was $ 249 including 4 days/3 nights at Blue Water Resort at Hilton Head resort, 6 people on a 3 day cruise on carnival or Royal Caribean, $ 100 in «dough bucks» to spend at restarants on island and $ 100 visa card. I caught Charlie Leon saleman in several lies from where the cruise line went for three days(he said to England haha) to the fact that we WERENOT attending a timeshare presentation. He guarenteed we’d get dates, there were no extra fees involved or hidden terms. I bought into the lies and bought a package after asking if we changed our minds if we could get a refund. He said we could and gave me a phone number to reach him if I had any problems. He said we had 7 days to do so and would get confirmation email. He didn’t say someone would call back and record me agreeing to terms that didn’t include cancellation policy timeframes or how to do so. When I asked about them during the recording, the girls said we exceeded the recording time and started over thus changing the subject and to ensure I didn’t get it on recording about refunds or timeshare presentation. After we bought the policy I googled the company and resort and saw many complaints about non delivery of the product or refunds or dates or terms or gifts etc. I know if something seems to good to be true it probably is. We decided not to even mess with it and I called today 1⁄29 to cancel reservation after making a call and leaving a message on 1⁄28. I did talk to a rep briefly today who said it was indeed a timeshare presentation. I’d never agreed to that and they know it. I was sent to a voicemail. I never got calls back and was told it would take 48 hrs(past the 3 day state recision period for cancellations) to get a response from Anita Ramon. I still have not got a confirmation email! There is a pending charge of $ 249 on my credit card from Spinnaker Resorts. THe company’s sales tatics seem to be based on deceit and lying deliberately to get a sale. They evidently do not come through with promised goods and I don’t want to deal with them. Updated info is that I got through to reservations only to find I was not«promised a one bedroom condo» with a full kitchen on the the«recording» even though the salesman, «charlie» promised it. They were going to put me ANYWHERE on the island they wanted to. There are so many lies he told I don’t know where to begin. Nothing he said was true. He also PROMISED that my dates were absoluted guarented if I gave a month notice and when I called today, they WERENOT available(2 months out). Please trust all the bad reviews you read and DONOT buy a timeshare or mini vacation from them. Thank heaven I caught it in time and cancelled my credit card.

Got a call from Spinnaker Resorts implying that I had vouchers up to $ 800.00 since we belong to Interval International, and that they were going to put us up at their resort in Branson, MO for $ 299.00(with $ 100.00 vouchers for food and entertainment). I was on the line for Interval(to verify their association with Interval) Mr. Amerosi got on the line to assure me that with a discount it was only going to be $ 199.00, but the catch is that we would have to spend a 90 minutes sales pitch from them to buy into their resort time share. When I told Mr. Amerosi that I did not want this, he stated«These fucking people.» before hanging up the phone. They might have a nice resort but we do not need another time share and to imply that my other time share was a part of this«deal» was a sales pitch and his comment should reflect their true nature.
