The hotel was ok. However the night manager was the most unpleasant person I have ever dealt with in all my travels. My wife asked for an extra tube of shampoo as we were traveling with our three daughters. He grudgingly found it. While she was waiting she noticed a tray filled with cookies and remembered that they gave out cookies on checkin and throughout the day. When she asked for some, mind you with four people around her, he handed her two. With a look of, «You are stealing the food out of my children’s mouths.» He intimidated her so much that when I asked her about an extra pillow she wouldn’t go talk to him. I went up while she went out to shop and first he said there weren’t any. The hotel appeared to be half empty. He the took of to look with me following gamely. He opened a laundry room and went inside. I pushed the door open a bit further so I could see what he was doing and he shut it in my face with a brusque, «I’m getting it for you!» It took him five minutes to, I think, put on the pillowcases on two pillows. He then shoved them towards me saying, «Here you go» and left. Morning guy(Matt) was very attentive, but I think I would avoid this place if you were looking around. No need to go somewhere the staff might go «Postal» on you. Update: I had a call from the owner of the motel and she told me that she had talked to the employee about his customer service and had retrained him about him being the face of their business. I hope that he can take this advice and have better conduct towards the guests. She offered to discount my room but I told her I wasn’t trying to get a better deal. I want businesses to succeed and thought that they had a problem that could be addressed. I am hoping that does occur. I encourage anyone that stays here in the future puts down their experiences; and that they are better than mine. Say«hi» to Matt.
