While in Branson, my bf left it up to me to plan the itinerary and also pick a special show that we would both enjoy. I poured thru the guide book of shows and decided on Taylor Reed. I am not a great follower of America’s Got Talent, but I do remember this particular magician. And I was excited to see him perform, again. The theatre itself looks a little worn, but we did like the location near our hotel So, we stopped by and got tickets and was pleased that we would be sitting in the sixth row. The night of the performance, we arrived a little late and the warm up guy was already on stage. Ziggy turned out to be a real treat. He would do almost anything for a laugh and he was super cute and dumb funny. Loved him. Next up was the man of the night, Taylor Reed. The opening consisted of slight of hand with cards. We enjoyed his stories of his childhood and start in the world of magic. We loved the progression of the show, the set changes went smoothly and we were astounded by the different magic tricks that he performed. I will not go thru the details of his many tricks, but he is truly amazing. We were very close to the stage, but could not figure out how any of these tricks were pulled off. Also, his stage presence is outstanding and he is a true professional. His«assistants» were also very entertaining and added to the show with their many costume changes. We also enjoyed the re-occurrence of Ziggy thru out the show. This show is very well put together and well worth your time. And if you have kids, you especially do not want to miss it. Taylor brought kids from the audience to the stage a couple different times. And another selling point is that your kids under 12 will receive a free magic kit with ticket purchase. I believe that Taylor Reed is the hardest working entertainer in Branson. Amazingly enough, after the show, Taylor made himself available to meet the audience for pictures and to shake hands. Also, he is no diva. He had Ziggy by his side as his equal. Love this guy!
