EZ Marine & Storage

I would like to post that in agreement with the other commenter, I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a staff member like I was today. The office is completely unorganized and when I called to offer a payment over the phone they accused me of harassing the front desk lady and HUNG UP on me. We rented boats from this place and Schroon Lake Marina this weekend and the Schroon Lake Marina was so much easier to work with and I would rent with them again in a heartbeat over this poorly run company.

I have been storing a small fishing boat here for the past 5 or 6 years. I was not in the area at the start of the summer and came home in mid-​July. I called them up and asked when would be a convenient time for me to pick up my boat. The girl who answered told me that she would have the owner call me back. When he did call me back, he informed me that he was sick of ‘us people’ (I assume he means his customers) not following their protocol and filling out paperwork to request our boat. I informed him that we did not receive any paperwork from his company and he replied that he would ‘check on that’.
I just find it absolutely absurd that in this economic climate that anyone could be as rude or condescending or treat a customer the way I was treated. I purchased all my dock equipment from them and planned to buy a ski boat from them next year — well, there are plenty of vendors in the area. If you want to store, give Loon Lake Marina a shot.
In response to your posting, that is all fine and dandy and if you had explained that to me in a professional manner rather than speaking to me in a less than professional manner, this review would not have been here. I never had a problem with the women in the shop and I never had an issue with the storage of my boat. I did have an issue with being spoken to in a condescending manner by someone whom I am giving business to. I stored my boat with Loon Lake Marina and didn’t have to jump through hoops to pick the boat up, nor have I been treated by them with anything but courtesy and respect.
