My cousin got married across the street at the Château Élan. The rates were very reasonable compared to Élan. However, the rooms and beds were on the small side. The beds were also uncomfortable and it smelled like mothballs. The free continental breakfast includes some hot items, which is nice, compared to just crusty pastries.

For the grade of the hotel an exceptionally clean, newly renovated room. Whole hotel is nonsmoking and pet friendly. Quiet with a reasonably generous breakfast buffet. Nice staff.

I am absolutely shocked at the ratings of this hotel. I arrived late in the night because my car had blown a tire. The front desk attendant Yvonne gave me a good price reducing the room almost $ 30.00 so me and my 3 year old son could have a good night sleep after a series of horrible events. She remembered me the next day and asked me how I was doing. I decided to stay one more night. The next day I was helped by Tonya. She was extremely friendly, worked along with Lisa to get me a good rate to stay on and very professional. The sales manager Lisa was nice and promised to make sure to get me a good deal if I needed to stay on. The next morning I arrived to the breakfast area and was immediately greeted by Cathy the attendant. She noticed I was lugging my son and offered to fix the pancakes for me. She stood there and fixed them, gathered the condiments I needed and a napkin to serve me. Once I was able to get him something to eat I was able to get me something. Cathy made small talk with me and then we hit a common ground. Our children had undergone some of the same treatments as an infant. We talked for a minute and then I watched her entertain the other guests all while replenishing the breakfast area. She was very nice to my son throughout the stay. I gave him a tip to give to her and she gave him the biggest hug in gratitude. She then took him to see some of the big rig trucks in the parking lot. He was so excited. The rooms were equipped with microwaves and small fridges, the bathrooms had your typical toiletries and a hair dryer, the bed had soft and firm pillows for sleeping, the internet Wi-Fi worked good and the rooms were enclosed. There were several signs showing the new upgrades to come which will make it look even nicer. It was quiet, located right next to a BP for convenience and was less than 2 minutes from I-85. Several days later I called back to make another reservation with them and Yvonne remembered me and made my reservation for me. She was very warm, professional and was able to accommodate me. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a safe environment, be serviced by great people and get a good deal for what you pay for.

It was OK. Pet Friendly, away from the road, quiet and a good nights sleep. Breakfast was your typical hotel food. The hotel is under a remodel which it needs. Out dated furnishings and shows signs of wear. Front desk could of been a little more attentive to guest. All in all it provided what i needed, quiet good nights sleep and pet friendly. Grounds were kept nice.

Ok. Pet friendly. I’m sure it’s much nicer across the street at the real Château Élan.
