There is an assumption that if it’s McDonald’s then perhaps it’s that you can’t afford a decent meal. This is not the case. Although this particular establishment is tucked away at a truck stop they have a fine menu for even those weight conscious individuals. Clean and decorated with a flower on each table, these employees deserve the raise McDonald’s corporation gave them. They are courteous and we’ll mannered. This location no longer has a drive through however, that only allows their customers to experience the smile behind the counter.

Haymarket, VA

This Mickey D’s shares a building and connection with a Pilot Travel Center — you can walk back and forth between the two businesses. If you want to use the restrooms — you need to enter the Pilot Travel Center store as the McDonald’s does not have restrooms in their part of the building.
Ordered the Filet-O-Fish value meal with a Diet Coke. Food came up fairly quick — I was famished as I had missed breakfast. The fish sandwich was fresh, hot, and tasty. The cheese was melted perfectly and the tartar sauce was yummy. However, the fries were way to salty — and not very hot.
Place was pretty busy at 1:15 pm in the afternoon.
