My first experience with year one was a dash pad ordered for my 1985GMC truck. To fit this dash in place you have to trim the excess mold off of the sides for it to fit in place. We fit it in, and it didn’t fit worth a damn. let it set in the sun for a few hours, tried again. Top would clip in, bottom popped out. Bottom was fastened in and the top would pop out. Year one refused to return it because the excess mold had been trimmed off. So I am stuck with a worthless dash pad. I bought an original GM one to put in my truck. SECOND problem, at the same time I ordered new seat upholstery for the same vehicle. I had it installed on my seat which was totally rebuilt by a reputable upholstery shop. Within 2 years of installation, it was already cracking and piping is falling off. I have 4 vehicles that I am restoring and I would rather pay a higher price somewhere else than deal with garbage products.

My dad is a «car guy» who loves to fix old cars. His recent discovery has been to order parts online except he has no clue how to use a computer. That’s were I come to the rescue. So it wasn’t a surprise when he called me at lunch to order him more parts. His current project, fixing up a 1981 Chevy Camaro Z28. Thankfully Year One makes my ordering very simple. This website is very easy and organized. Plus«check out» is a breeze, with a detailed description of your order. The best thing is when you order you already know if your parts are available and/or if that specific part will take longer to deliver. Just checkout the website:
