I love their fries and taquitos w/guacamole and cheese and their sweet ice tea. This place was a favorite pick of diners to eat at when they let us out for lunch at BUHS as it is nearby. Nowadays it brings me back 20 years. I am glad they are still around after all these years. Their sweet tea tastes similar to the sweet teas I would get in the south. Awesome, and I highly recommend!

The breakfast burritos are awesome. The fries with cheese are the best and the tea is the nectar of the gods.

Always busy and always great! I order the whole bean burritos as those beans aren’t made with lard. Quick service and a friendly place to stop and go or to dine in!

Had the Bacon, Egg, & Bean burrito for breakfast and had the Asada burrito for lunch. Both burritos were very traditional and resembled Mexican home style cooking. B, E & B burrito came exactly as named. Asada burrito came with guacamole, salsa and I added beans. Wouldn’t change anything regarding taste or ingredients. Size was on the small to medium size but so are the prices. Content and happy with the food but not impressed. Will come back to try other food. Also, customer service was good.

This is a busy favorite spot for locals. If you are passing through town you can pick up some good burritos at the drive thru. I had machaca and egg and bean and egg. Both were ok size and wrapped in a nice tortilla. Nothing magical but was tasty with hot sauce and some brewed iced tea. The all meat burrito was the star of the show. For $ 4.50 you get all tender and tastes red chili pork. Theses are messy and wonderful.

This place is way overrated. If your from the valley and all u had to eat for lunch was Johnny’s, then you don’t know any better and you think his food is «amazing». But if you ever leave the Valley to a real city and come back to Johnny’s you realize how average/below average this food is. When we come back to the Valley we come here for sweet tea and some taquitos or burritos but that’s just cause it’s the Valley and every place in the Valley sucks when it comes to food…

M my husband and his family were raised with Johnny’s over 40 years and they are still lining customers up out the door. Their Carne asada is the best in two counties

The taquitos with cheese and avocado sauce are the best along with a side of French fries with avocado sauce and cheese :)

Delicious new fruit cup is actually a to go plate full of cut up watermelon, honeydew, jicama, cantelope, and pineapple and ½ a lemon YUM! When I don’t feel like eating fast food. And they add chili powder and chamoy. Bravo for adding some cool, healthy options, only downside is they’re closed on Sunday’s and everyday at 6pm and two weeks during the end of the summer for vacation.

Traditional, delicious Mexican food! Fries with cheese and guac are the BEST! Can’t come to Brawley without eatin’ at Johnny’s!

After coming here a few more times to visit my wife’s grandma, this place has grown on me. They always get the fries with mex style Guac sauce and taquitos. I personally go for the burritos. Smaller than San Diego taquerias but still good.

Went there for breakfast on Saturday morning. We knew we were onto something when we saw the place was packed. Burritos were awesome. We had the chille relleno and loved it. Great prices too. Well worth the trip, we’ll go there again.

This is a well run three restaurant group, apparently with the original in Brawley and the others in the Imperial Valley — one is right of the 8 Freeway in EL Centro– they hire top notch staff, you can tell by their demeanor and sincerity of service — I am healthy food inclined and was surprised to find a spinach & egg burrito on whole wheat tortilla on the menu — also a soy chorizo and egg burrito– to cut to the chase: awesome food, not greasy; prepared fresh and timely. I could eat these healthy burritos every day– Fish is the only meat I eat so I tried their fish taco another time and dang if it wasn’t delicious enough to compare to any San Diego taco. I give high marks for this restaurant, worth a stop if you are going through ElCentro or out to desert areas off the 86. PEACE

Oh man. A friend turned me on to this place last year when I was here for work, and to be honest I didn’t think it was that great —. Flash forward a year and I’ve tried the Calipat burrito and the Barbacoa burrito… both are delicious… the Calipat has potato meat and chorizo and is a great combination of flavors while the Barbacoa is filled with chunks of stewed meat with cilantro, onion and cabbage — also a great combo. Looking forward to exploring more. The avo sauce is not my cup of tea — not sure why people enjoy that. I’d rather just have guacamole or avocado.

Definitely a local hangout. Good service here. Taquitos were pretty good. The fries with guacamole and cheese were ok. Iced tea was ok. Nothing to write home about but it was fine I guess.

Great Mexican food. All burritos can be put in a cup for low-carbers. Fries with cheese are awesome. My favorite is the egg, machaca, cheese and hot sauce. Their taqueria are wonderful too! Their sweet tea is VERY sweet.

Ate here during the early morning shift(7am) and both our carne asada burritos were incredibly dry. Definetly didn’t taste fresh or even made that same day. I’ll give them the benefit of a doubt, but I definetly felt robbed in terms of quality and price. I eat here at least once a week.

For many Johnny’s may be «comfort food central» but Johnny’s has earned it! I am in love with their chorizo and egg burrito. When I have to get to work early and skip breakfast, I head there for my brunch break and order it every time. I have yet to be disappointed. That burrito and their coffee reminds me of mom’s… Oh, yeah! Bön appétit!

Pretty good Mexican food here is served at this local fast food place. I especially enjoyed their famous burritos, which has an excellent meat filling. I wanted to buy one of their neat Johnny’s Burritos t-shirt, but they were out of my size. The shirts are nicely priced at $ 12 each.
