Walmart Supercenter

*** Pit stop review (Brawley) ***
Needed to take a break and pick up some supplies. This Walmart location is just the place. I remembered stopping here a few years back when it was newly built. The facility is huge, with super wide isles, and very clean and organized. The location is right off of the main road, Hwy 86. So there’s no need to make extra turns to travel too far inland. If you’re passing through it’s a nice place to pick up supplies.
Here’s what I liked…
* New facility. So everything is very clean and organized.
* Easy access off of the main highway.
* Easy access /​pull-​through parking spaces. A lot of available spaces to choose from.
* Really friendly people in the area. It seems like Brawley is a working-​class agricultural community. There is definitely something about small towns where both the store patrons and the employees are friendlier than usual. For example, the employees are very helpful in finding items. I had a car actually stop to let me cross the street. I received an «excuse me», a «pardon me», one «thank you», and a «hello». This is all in one visit to the store! What the heck??? I’ve gotta say, I’ve been having a sh*tty week. This is pretty nice to see :-)
Here’s what I didn’t like…
* Too bad nicer people are 200 miles away from home :-) ha ha ha…
* Hmm… I’m not sure what everyone is complaining about? I had a really good experience.
* Nothing else comes to mind.
Shopping area = clean and organized.
Service = friendly
Restroom = clean, but I still hate the toilet seat tagging thing. That’s sooo lame…

This Walmart has so much potential but their pharmacy has horrible customer service! There are always at least 5 people behind the counter and they literally will leave you standing there and just ignore you for several minutes. No one will look at you so they can continue to ignore you. The pharmacist himself never says a word to any of the workers either but they all can see you standing there… And even coughing they still ignore people! Its so frustrating! Several times Ive placed orders and will go to pick it up a couple of days later only to be told that there was a problem. No one ever calls you first to let you know. Ive asked to be called when there is a problem but that too gets ignored.

I went to Walmart tonight and saw what appeared to be a homeless person. it’s the same group that stands out in the parking lot begging for money then later on in the evening they go buy beer with it. this guy had his mangy dog with him. It didn’t appear to be a service dog I thought it was illegal in California to bring a non-​service dog into a supermarket. at this Walmart and Brawley I’ve seen it several times can and I’ll bring my horse in?

Horrible costumer service. No one speaks English and they are so rude. At least in el centro they will go and get someone to help u here in brawley they just look at u like it stupid. Not friendly at all. I rather give my money to vons and pay a little more than to go back to that place.

Well. I can’t expect much. Its walmart. I can understand getting some messed up customer service if I’m being a pain in the a** …but just asking to pick up some photos from Pearl in the photo lab she was rude and treated me like an idiot… maybe she was having a bad day. She was working on mothers day. But then again. if u can’t have good customer service get another job. Too bad its the only photo printing place in brawley.

The worst auto service dept. It took them 3 hours to do an oil change on my truck. The cashiers are rude, lazy and not helpful at all! I will never go to that Walmart for any auto services again and I advise others not to go there unless you have all day to wait.

poor produce and meat lines are way way to long

This has to be one of the nicest walmarts I have ever been in! The store is very clean and well organized. We make the drive from el centro to shop here.

It’s very clean and not too crowded. On the other hand they rarely have what I need. Probably why is always very empty.
