Big 5 Sporting Goods

So I just left Big 5 here in brea and I have to say I had the BEST experience shopping here! Me my mom and brother came in here looking for some watches, and the cashier Kelsey was the best help around! She was so friendly and polite. She helped us the whole time, but she was also able to help other customers at the same time and having such a great and positive attitude the whole time! All the workers here seem to be very pleasant and I was greatly pleased! I highly recommend anyone to come here, such a great place to shop! Thank you Kelsey for all your help! It was very MUCH appreciated! Without your help I probably would of left without buying anything, so thank you again! You were the sweetest worker I think I have ever met in my whole life!:)

Came in here to get some running shoes. The store is clean, especially the shoe department was very organized and easy to look through. GIO was such a sweetheart and very helpful. I am very picky he was patient with me and helped me by offering several options. He was quick in getting me my sizes and offered me advice in choosing. Was a quick and easy breezy experience. Thanks to Gio. They’re prices are good too. I loved my Nikes and will be back for more :)

I love that it’s small and more personalized, although it’s a busy store, and sometimes hard to find a sales person. We found a large selection of sweat pants for my son. Another time, when I called to see if they had a certain item in a certain size, they didn’t have it in stock, but were glad to check at the store in Fullerton on Orangethorpe, and they did have the item, which saved me time running around.

Always helpful service. They do get busy and may have a bit of waiting when asking for help, but they are friendly.
They do have good deals on shoes from time to time. The selections are decent, but don’t expect running shoes specialty choices.
The venue is slightly on the cramp side, but clean and organized.
They carry various sports equipments, guards and supports, and apparel.
Price is cheaper than sports chalet.

Dani was helping me find some new workout gear and I never work out so I knew nothing! She ended up showing me all the ins and outs of all the different products and I found a whole new wardrobe to start working out! She was awesome! If you go in ask for her!

Came here to upgrade my knife collection. Matt gave the best customer service out there, didn’t leave until I had what I needed, and knew the store products very well. This big 5 has a better selection it seems compared to most others. The attractive cashier was also a very cool woman and was the cherry on top for this adventure of mine. I’ll be back for more soon enough!

This is my go to place for their shoe sales. I came in hoping they were having one of their sales and they didn’t disappoint. I was able to get a new pair of walking shoes and a pair of Sherpa boots for my daughter and saved over 70%, niiiice!
Last year when I came at this time I came in to get snow boarding equipment for my daughter to have her take lessons and they had what we needed at rock bottom prices! I was surprised considering it was the start of the season which was super cool. At that time we were able to get lift tickets too. They only sell for Mt. High so be aware of that, I believe that Sports Chalet sells to the other resorts.
They get 4 stars bc most of the other things I can find at Target for a lot cheaper.

Their selection is random, and they don’t always have what you need.

This Big 5 feels like a Mom and Pop store, which is a good thing.
Plenty of discounts and sales.
Would come back for my sporting needs.
