Daniels service was awesome! So was the cashiers but I didn’t get his name. Friendly place, great food.

Eat here! When you do, bring a little cash to tip these deserving Waffle Artisans! #1 This is my new favorite North OC place. I love the food, the employees, the prices, the speed… just about everything about this place is awesome. #2WAFFLES!!! WAFFLEFRIES!!! Their waffles are light, crispy, and borderline perfect. #3 They are happy to substitute –including for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free diets. #4 I could eat their California Pesto sandwich every day of my life. #5 They boxed up our 2nd orders by special request so we could save round 2 for dinner. Why this isn’t a perfect 5-Star rating: 1) 3 of my sandwiches were missing an item, and 1 missed a key ingredient… But to be fair, I had some very complicated take-out instructions and I don’t blame them. -‘O’- 2) I was disappointed by the Salmon Locks and it was missing capers. :’( Probably what happens when people have complex boxing instructions… stuff gets left out. :p 3) It seems the sweeter food I tried(3 items thus far) were not as good as the savory ones.

Excellent place for fast, yummy American style bites! The waffles are light and crispy. I’ve literally tried all of them during the many visits I’ve had. The crispy chicken is my favorite savory waffle and the Crème brûlée is probably my favorite sweet selection. Portions are light and not overbearing. Great for a snack, light meal or a dessert!

Had their mushroom and goat cheese sandwich and lemon and berry desert, which were fairly mediocre at best. Their Valentine’s special on the other hand, chocolate ganache with strawberries, was absolutely delicious! I really hope this one becomes a permanent item on the menus because I would not hesitate to come back again and again for it.

I first visited the orange location years ago and not only enjoyed but thought, there are so many other menu items I want to try. So when they opened a location a five minute walk from my house I was like«YESSSS». Nonetheless I limit myself to not indulge to often. I will typically bring friends who don’t get out my way that often and want to try something different. My family likes it for breakfast, I like it for lunch and everyone likes it for dessert. There are still a bunch of things I want to try but I love the chicken sandwich best. The gruyère prosciutto sand which is good to. This place is fun, quick(providing no crazy lines) reasonable and has something for everyone. I would imagine parking could be less than easy for some but for me no problem. The building is open air so be prepared to get hot on certain summer days. The waffles are sort of lighter and not super heavy so it doesn’t make the sandwich overwhelming. Friends have told me the custard is amazing but I haven’t tried it. Drinks are good sides are good desserts are good and sandwiches are good so lots of reasons to keep coming back.

I’ve been here since it’s opening at the Brea location and the sandwiches here are just as good now as it was back when the doors open so many moons ago. They’re really well known for their Chicken and Waffles, and for good reason. It’s quite substantial, yet it feels so light, and that’s due in part to the airy and crispy waffles. Nothing quite compares(not even Roscoe’s, and yes, that might be blasphemous for some). The slaw that accompanies the Chicken and Waffles lends a nice textural contrast to the savory chicken. It really is the perfect combo. My other favorite is the lox(the smoked salmon and cream cheese waffle sandwich). It’s tastes really healthy, although I know it’s completely not. It must be due in part to the refreshing cucumbers that line the inner shell of the waffle. I can go on and on with all the variations of waffle sandwiches they have, but I might as well err on the side of brevity and just say that you can’t really go wrong with any of the sandwiches. They’re all amazing. The drinks are pretty good as well too. If I’m doing«brunch,» I like to order my waffle sandwich with a vanilla latte(sooooo good). If I’m doing a heftier lunch, I like to order their Italian style sodas. In any event, everything is good!

Went here today and got the classic burger, and it was amazing. The meat was cooked to perfection it was tender and not over cooked. The waffle burger is a Nice size I could only eat half and I couldn’t even finish my fries. Which I love waffle fries and they make food fries. The only thing I would say is the root beer was to sweet for me. Other then that everything was really good !!!

We never have waffles sandwiches until Bruxie at Brea. First we were curious what waffle sandwiches would be tasted and were hesitant to try. Eventually we decided to give it a try after persuaded by a nice waitress. We ordered Turkey waffle with avocado and red bean waffle for dessert. Oh my goodness, they tasted so good, especially the red bean waffle. If it was not for late night, we would order more. There are so many different kind of waffle choice. If you have never tried Bruxie before, you would not be disappointed.

I’ve never been a big chicken and waffle, waffle sandwich type of person. I like to eat my chicken and my waffle on separate places where they both remain crispy! And where I can taste both dishes as they should. Whenever I’ve tried chicken and waffle, both items come out crispy but end up getting soggy within the first 5 minutes. Then comes the syrup, added moisture, me no like. I love the crunch of biting and chewing something crunchy & crispy! Anyways. I’ve been to Bruxie several times since they first came out and they’ve been pretty consistent when it comes to quality. I’ve tried the prosciutto & Gruyère with the extra sunny side up egg and arugula for breakfast. It was recommended by the cashier, which I highly suggest you getting too! I’m talking about the whole thing, don’t cheap out on the extra $ 1 or $ 2 for the egg, it’s what MAKES the waffle sandwich. Funny because I ordered that sandwich the first time i went to Bruxie but didn’t particularly loved it, now I know what was missing. I’ve also heard good things about the bacon and egg(but I’m not a bacon person so I don’t care for it). Service was pretty good at this location, friendly and casual.

Bruxie’s has come a long way since I first tried it at Chapman University, it’s original location. I’m glad I had the opportunity to get it one last time before heading back to school. Man, the menu sure has expanded. I remember when all it had was just the Classic Bruxie, some waffle desserts, and their classic waffle fries. Looking to walk down memory lane, I ordered the Classic Bruxie as well as the new Irish Nacho Fries. Classic Bruxie tasted just as good as I’d remember it. The two things I love about this waffle style burger are the juiciness of the meat as well as the crunchiness of the waffle. Everything else is always okay, but those two will always stand out. The price is excellent for the quality you get and it makes me wish there were more Bruxies in NorCal. As for the Irish Nacho Fries, I didnt really have a good experience. Sure, Unilocalers are correct when they say that you get a large portion, but all it is is just a large amount of waffle fries with sour cream, bacon and chives. You can say that I was just eating a full on baked potato that was fried up. Maybe that was the idea, but I should’ve just gotten another waffle burger. Overall, good location and good food. I’ll probably just come back to the original location when I’m back home. Eat well and prosper, –ß

Always on point with the waffles or waffle sandwiches! Great spot to chill, have dining indoor or outdoor, and staff is always friendly! Their menu is so mouth watering I hate choosing what to eat but I’m sure all is good! Great spot for breakfast lunch or dinner and also kid friendly environment! Gonna try the patty melt today and include the pic this time before I eat it! Thx Bruxies!

Been here many times and have tried a different sandwich every time — sweet and savory alike. Got a roasted mushroom and goat cheese waffle sandwich to-go this time. It came out within 5 minutes of ordering and was delicious! The waffle was crunchy but not dry. The roasted mushrooms were seasoned amazingly and had a great texture — I want to say they were crimini shrooms. The best part of the sandwich was the flavor of the goat cheese with balsamic mushrooms — a great balance of thick, savory cheese and acidic balsamic. Topped off with bold arugula, this sandwich has flavors that are through the roof and far from safe and subtle. Would order this again, which is hard to say since everything else on the menu looks good too!

So I’m not as hooked on Bruxie as I was when they first opened in Orange. The novelty of their«new» invention has worn off and my opinion of them has leveled out. While their waffle sandwiches are still good, portion size is small. I can easily eat 2 and then this becomes not an affordable meal. The other night I came with the bf and we tried their new salads and while the portion of the salads are good, their dressing is way too overpowering. I tried the Roasted Mushroom & Goat Cheese with Grilled Chicken and couldn’t finish it because the dressing and the goat cheese combo was way too strong. On the plus side I also tried their Crispy Chicken Tender meal and that was really good. I also go to try their affogato and thought that was REALLY good as well. I love custard but custard in espresso? Amazing!

What a cute little place in Downtown Brea! I met a friend here for breakfast over the weekend and I must say that I was pretty impressed. I ordered the pastrami hash with hard egg and gruyère… very good! My friend enjoyed her order as well; although, I can’t remember what she ordered. They have a really big selection of both savory and sweet waffle sandwiches, so no matter what you are in the mood for, I’m sure they have something that you will enjoy. The staff was also very attentive and available for drink refills and anything else that a customer may need. I’d love to go back for lunch!

Bruxie is a waffle sandwich place. My first time here, so here I am, here with no expectations(that’s the beauty of exploring new places, keeps you excited~!). Came on Friday evening and there’s no queue, got our waffles 5 minutes after we place our order. Bacon and Egg is really yummy! I didn’t expect a waffle sandwich can be so delicious. Waffle is fluffy and nice, fillings is well-cooked and warm when served. I felt so contented right after the very first bite, makes you wanna have more. Waffle with Vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup is sooooo yummy! It’s so chocolatey, simple and rich. My friend frequents here and he always customized it to his own taste(like no nuts no maple syrup and etc…)

Bruxie is a waffle sandwich place. Instead of using bread for the sandwich, they use the Belgian waffle. There’s several locations in California. This one is located in Downtown Brea. They have a variety of waffle sandwiches. They also have waffle cut fries, salads, soup, Belgian originals, sweet treats(desserts on a waffle), sundaes, shakes, floats, coffee, tea, and other beverages. I had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Waffle($ 7.50) and it was fantastic. The light, airy, and crisp texture of the waffle came in harmony with the flavorful fried chicken. The chicken was quite tender and the cider slaw was quite fresh. The chili honey added a nice sweet flavor to the sandwich. I also had the Strawberry Lemonade which was quite refreshing. It was the perfect blend. The restaurant is very spacious. The indoor seating has high top tables with bar stools planted to the ground. The tables are spaced pretty far apart from one another. There’s also outdoor seating. The service was great. Food arrived promptly. The employees here were very friendly. Overall, tasty waffle sandwich with great service! Will be back to try more waffle sandwiches!

Food: I tried the pastrami waffle and the pulled pork waffle. Both were very very good! Pastrami waffle has loads of pastrami meat, served with pickles and mustard as the dressing. The pulled pork has tender pulled pork and cold slaw. Better gobble them up before the oil/grease gets soaked up in the waffle. Food rating: 4.5÷5 Service: Been here a few times and the service is pretty spot on. Service rating: 4.5÷5 Price: Expect to pay about $ 9 bucks per sandwich Overall: This place has some pretty yummy waffle sandwich, definitely worth coming back to.

Bruxies has expanded their menu! I was totally surprised when I walked in. Welcome to the original, the love, Bruxies. Located in Downtown Brea, Bruxies is here to serve you salads, waffle sandwiches, dessert sandwiches, and drinks. Oh and fries. Irish nachos, anyone? Carolina BBQ Pork. I finally got something that was NOT roasted mushroom and goat cheese: P(I’ve had like 6 of those xD) They give you a sauce that makes it give a tang! Tangy~. You may choose whether or not you really want to add it. The BBQ Pork was not overcooked and was easy to eat, tasty as well. The waffle sandwich? Delish as always(: You have your BBQ sauce in there and your coleslaw vegetables as well. It took me a couple minutes to go through it. I do love the roasted mushroom one, but with all these new selections, IDKWHATTODOANYMORE! There’s a $ 7.49(or $ 7.99) deal. Half a sandwich + a side– you can choose waffle fries, salad, or fruit. Irish Nachos– If you have the stomach for it, just get it. It’s like a poutine in a way, but it’s a great combo. Get it for 2, it’ll make you full :) Parking– you can park in the parking structures. One on Brea Blvd, the other on Birch. You can also choose to park in the lot that’s behind Downtown Brea on Imperial. Waffle sammiches. Get em(:

I’ve tried the sandwiches from this location a few times and even though there’s one closer to my work now, I have yet to go there. So I decided to just review this one. Food: I haven’t had a chance to try any of the dessert waffles yet, but I’ve had their savory sandwiches, which I absolutely love! When I first came here, I didn’t know what to think about waffle sandwiches, since I’m not really a big fan of waffles… unless I’m über hungry. I’ve had their Smoked Salmon, Roasted Mushroom and Goat Cheese, and Bruxie Burger. I think my favorite so far is the Roasted Mushroom and Goat Cheese. It hasn’t failed me yet. And surprisingly its delicious with a few drops of Sriracha! Environment/Ambiance: The restaurant is right on the main street, so you can’t miss it. Parking is easy, you can find it at the nearby parking garage. The restaurant is pretty laid-back and chill, order at the counter and pick a counter or table to sit at. Really great place to hangout and enjoy their food! Service: Swift and to the point, is all I can say. Other than asking a few questions about the menu, I honestly haven’t spent more than a few seconds one on one with an employee. Tips: It may be a strange concept, but their savory waffle sandwiches are pretty good! Definitely give it a try. Also, I hear they’re dog friendly!
